Looking for some advice here. I had a pretty nasty incident last weekend where a fence post came through the front of my boot and into my ankle. I got out of it alright, just a lot of bruising and a nice split down to the bone. If I wasn't wearing good boots, I'm not sure what may have happened. Anyways, I'm wondering if anyone knows where I could buy one Sidi Crossfire 2 SRS? I really don't want to shell out the coin for a new pair as mine aren't even a year old.
Thanks!

I've never heard of being able to purchase a single boot in my years working for a dealer and being a Sidi dealer. It sucks, but be thankful the boot did it's job. It's a small price to pay. But I totally understand your frustration.

Have a pic of the boot? If it isn't hurt to bad any good boot repair place can probably fix it.

Send a pic to Sidi along with your story...they may help you out, can't hurt to try.

A guy i used to race with has an artificial leg , below the knee, only wears one boot and a trainer on the other foot, orders 2 pairs of boots , from different places, sends one back saying it had 2 lefts in the box, does the same with trainers.

most likely they wont sell just one. The US distributors deal in pairs and can't seperate. At least that is what Gaerne told me. Unfortunately i have experience in only needing one boot lol, but Sidi may be different.
I sell my extra one on Ebay, the last one a SG 10 brought 100$, so they are out there just probably not all the time. You are probably going to have to buy a new pair but doesn't hurt to try good luck

And we wonder why the sport is so expensive. The manufacturers will get their money one way or another. They just raise prices for everyone to compensate for losses like this.

My thought was if they heard the story and the customers satisfaction with the performance of the damaged boot they may send him another................free of charge.....

like I said, it's a long shot but WTH.

I was thinking about writing into Sidi just to show them what happened. The post actually inserted in the front of the boot and tore down to the toe area where the leather stops. I'll get some pictures up soon. More than anything I'm greatful to still have a right foot. This could have been a very different story. Thanks guys

Well that and all the sponsored riders getting their "kits" hooked up....goddam I HATE that word but it makes me sick to my stomach to see cool guy riders that arent even close to top guys or even accomplished racers having like 10 pairs of the most expensive fox boots in every fookin color each year. With high end boots cresting $500 now I'd assume thats how they compensate for it too.

Check out our website listed in my profile. Depending on your size, you can get gently used boots at a discount. Doesn't mean you wont be spending money, but may not be as bad as buying a new pair.

having worked with Sidi for the past 17 years, i've yet to see any sponsored rider, big or small, with 10 pairs of boots.
three maybe....but i don't know of anyone who has 10 pairs of working Crossfires sitting around. not even Tony.

danny laporte swaps his out about every six to nine months, not because they're worn out, but they're cosmetically scratched up...and his wife is french, so.....

from a boot supplier's point of view, it's a horrible product. they're only clean until the first turn, then the logos disappear.
boots rarely if ever show up in a podium photo, and you almost have to swap out a rider with a new pair every couple of races so they look good next week.

i didn't see where PNW listed the size or color he's using.
armed with that info, i'll gladly dive into the returns to see if there's an adoptable orphan in the group.

Funny, I had a similar incident a few weeks ago. Wearing alpinestars. 11 stitches. However, I immediately bought a set of sidi crossfire 2's on ebay for $429. Its just an awesome boot for what I do. However, they arrived and are a bit small, so now I am trying to sell them on ebay, as opposed to paying $230 us to ship them back overseas. So if anyone needs a set of black srs 2 size 10, please buy them from me so I can order a size 11.

buy my boots please.....And don't make fun of my socks!!!!!!

I will do $399 free shipping to us if not done on ebay......
