Then all you have to do is throw away the oven and buy a new one. Seriously, don't do it.
Thanks. Im bringing it to a guy who does powdercoating so that he can bake it in his oven. He said give him $20 and hell bake it for however long and hot I need. I used PJ1 fast black 500F paint. If this doesnt stay on im going to get that guy to powdercoat it.

Are these graphics something that you do? I have an 88 RM250 and an 88 RM125 that I am building that could use some nice retro but current graphics.

Good idea. The can should tell you how long and what temp to cure it at.

Thanks man. The back of the can says that it cures overnight, but I talked to a guy at PJ1 and he said that baking it on will help it really stick. I didnt get any specs from him but I will call him today and get the oven temperature and duration.

VHT 550 f engine enamel calls for 20 minutes at 200 degrees f. Probably something similar to that I would think.

I called the guy at PJ1 and he said 300 degrees F for 30-40 minutes. I brought it to the powdercoating guy yesterday and he baked it on for me. I think baking this stuff on is key. Before, the paint was soft and a little sticky, now its hard, smooth, and not sticky at all. Once I get the silencer back on ill probably post some pics.

Yes I did have them recreated by Chad at Aktiv MX Graphics! Chad does an excellent job on recreates - this is the second one he has done for me.

You'll notice with the original bike that the front fender tip & fork guards don't really have a design. I asked chad if he could follow the design on the rest of the bike and make subtle changes. Also, in place of some of the 04' Suzuki sponsors on the rear fender, I added mine. Lastly was the new style front fender and number plate... I guess the 04 factory bike, modernized... I like it.

The #11 cr250 is trampas parkers doc wob built/prepped farleigh racebike for the vmxdn this weekend.

He also did this kx500 for john dowd.

And this us spec 89 kx250 was originally for ryan hughes with the conventional forks.bike was stored away and unused for a long time apparently.looks cool with the anodized suspension and is now for sale.
