Have you ridden a fuel injected bike? Given the choice I'd take a fuel injected bike over a carb bike 10 out of 10 times.

I'll take my carburetor for my purposes, but my days of motoing down and wanting/needing every ounce of performance are gone. Suspension is the biggest pperformance gap $$$$#-if technology narrows that gap, cool.

I ride in the woods now. Have seen too many issues due to electronics.

I really doubt KTM will ever say what the real problem was. Fuel Pump is an easy scapegoat. I bet it was something different.

It cracks me up when people say FI is easier than jetting. Let's see, carb..doesn't run right. Replace a few $5 pieces of brass. EFI, doesn't run right.. drag out the laptop and your $350 tuning software and fiddle-fuck around for hours. Now let's talk troubleshooting. Carb bike--clean the carb and rip. EFI bike.. pull your frickin hair out replacing ECM, capacitor, fuel pump, fuel injector, wiring harness, testing TPS, replace air pressure sensor, coolant temp sensor, air temp sensor........

I went about as high as you can go for the answer. It was preliminary, but they'd plugged into the bike and that's what it was pointing to.

The bike would fire and run (I watched Frankie head back to the pits on it), but wouldn't rev.
