The only thing I'm wondering is, is the bike balanced right? Its kind of hard to tell with it being perched on that racoon cage whether the front of the bike is going to sit a bunch higher then the rear when its on the ground.
I made the triple clamps to have same rake as the stock ones the bike sits and handles the same just less flex because front end is way beefier. I did this build right was originally gonna make a one piece subframe/airbox alloy unit and an alloy fuel tank as well but overall I was happy with this bike.

The turbine core is a spark arrestor for off-road use and they are quite a bit longer than the standard powercore and especially the powercore Shorty's.

Yanaha should sell this bike except with silver rims and swingarm. The white and red are so bright and clean looking.

Good job on the build.

Nice! One day, I would love to have a Pro-Circuit - Peak bike, but this would do!

Sean_Fries....wow! you do some good work on these bikes. Im going to be giving my 2003 YZ250 a similar treatment to this .....not an exact copy but same concept. Can you please let me know where you got the graphics for this bike?????....Oh and the seat or seat cover too if ya dont mind.

Im going similar to this, white frame and all....going to keep my engine silver so the grapics on the bike you build are simialr to what im looking to do...

Also toying around with the idea of a modern replica of THIS beauty....1991 or 1992 Bike

1992

1991

Works Replica, is that better? I thought it was a cool looking bike and it looks like a mini works bike. It has a few trick parts on it that were hand made. I guess if it's 100% hand made, then we can call it "works".
Hand-made does not equal "works" either. Hand-made by little Honda Factory Race Team Elves at Honda "Motorwerken" for a Factory rider/test mule equals "works".

Sorry that you really don't understand what a Works bike is, like all the Craigslist 'tards that throw the term around.

Sean...that bike looks incredible man! You do some very nice restorations. May I ask where you get and what brand all the white plastics are? Especially the tank , is that a Clark oem replacement tank?

It's all in pieces with nothing happening. Maybe this teaser will help... real works Honda parts from 1978. Cast upper triple with rubber mounted bar clamps, forged lower triple, machined stem and hardware. For works 41mm cartridge forks.

Large capacity RC tank

Works swing arm.
