There's really only 2 un-cool things about Cali. Cost of living., which doesn't matter if you're just visiting but there is just no escaping that hideous traffic. Kinda like finding out heaven is everything you hoped it would be except the ONLY thing there is to eat is shit sammiches.

Ha ha yea thankfully I don't live there, after Phoenix I said no big cities ever again! (Side story) we are at a bar in Reno right now and I said to my wife hey that's the first corona sign I've see. With the zip code on it. Which started a SoCal discussion which ended with me saying hey Pro Circuit is in corona and her seeing the little kid in me come out and asking if I wanted to go lol! But I'll give you a solid 8 points for the analogy!

Reno...lol. I was stationed at Travis a million years ago...the wife and I spent many a weekend there wasting our kids inheritance. Liked it much better than Vegas.

Took a trip of a lifetime there last year.

I didn't go to PC, I'm not good enough for their stuff, did go to Troy Lee's.
Cool place, and coolest bathroom on the planet, lol. They are both in Corona.

Wanted to go to GH, but family needed me too much to go.

Rent a tandem bike and cruise Venice Beach. Loved Venice Beach, business in the front, party in the back.

Have fun, we did!

what bar are you guys at... I just moved from Reno 3 weeks ago to Vegas. If you guys are down town go to "The Depot" on 4th street, its an awesome brewery/distillery with great food!

lock your shit up.
Whatever for? I joke about being in Kansas but the truth is I only put locks on my doors THIS year (and still don't use them). Stupid probably but in this small burg I'm considered the retired military fuck you up guy. My kids scared everyone in town with stories of how much I liked blood and guts. Not true but the bluff has worked well enough for 16 years. I've been to Compton and let's just say that it's true that God protects the dumb and weak.

Rent some beach cruisers and ride the Newport - Huntington boardwalk. Go to Venice beach and do the same thing. Check out the skaters at the Venice park and hit 3rd street promenade in Santa Monica for a dinner. Go see the stars in Hollywood. Check out City Walk at Disney. See a show at the Hollywood bowl. Take a day cruise to Catalina Island. Go to a comedy show in Hollywood. Rent some surf boards and try surfing.

Anything but visit the crappy areas of LA that all the shops and tracks are in. Plus it's going to be super hot this time of year and as it's been said, the traffic is going to suck unless you drive in the middle of the night. If your are driving hit that stuff on your way in and out.

Opps almost forgot. Get a burger at In-n-out.

Troy lee might take an hour if you go slow, pc about 15 min. maybe. Glen Helen on Thursday for real action, get there early and stay. Milestone not so great of a track, might be some pros, but it is ok to just hang around. Pala is good. Then its all about the beach, or even magic mountain.

I second the going to Chaparral. No joke it's the size of a Walmart. You can spend a couple hours there just looking at everything
