simply because they don't race these types of scooters anymore the current riders of today and in the future will not be the racers that they could have been. they will not enjoy and possess the skills like racers of the past. they will jump farther and faster no doubt on the 4 bangers but MX isn't about jumping. in short the 4 banger has made better and faster racers for today but they lack the skills that racers of the 2 stroke eras of past have enjoyed.

lazy racers can go faster, non-fit racers can go farther, non thinking racers can go better and strategy has virtually been eliminated from the sport of MX as we know it. Yet there are still runaways and the racing for the fans has diminished. why is that? I blame the 4 banger.....Smile

Nice vid and I agree. I've spent time jumping back and forth at practice days and there is ALOT less going on when I'm sitting on valves. At least at this point and time kids still have to ride 60's and 80's. My favorite races at the o's last week were supermini and two stroke schoolboy.

I miss 125's, and it is nice to watch a video with natural dirtbike sounds rather than some dumbass bullshit punk music or rap sondtrack
