It's an answer Carbon for a CR250. You can find them on ebay for 70 bucks or so.

I had to weld my silencers stinger on to it to make it fit

I've heard that about the KX pipe, anyone on here ever try it?

Great looking bike 809!

And is there a pipe you do not have to cut / weld? I don't know how to weld and although I could get it done, I'd rather have something that bolts right up.

I've been thinking about this project a lot lately and if cutting and welding the pipe to fit is the only option for the hpp cylinder, I may not do it...

Heck ya man that came out great! Nice photo spot to, combines two of my favorite things.Cool

I'm thinking about going through my 04 and rebuilding it all, might try the older cylinder swap like you did, definately make the bike unique and should help it out a bit motor wise. These are seriously good bikes handling wise, it definately felt like it handled better than my rm, but that would probably varry between people. Enjoy that thing, nothing better than a 125 than goes right where you tell it and doesn't talk back!Woohoo

Have ya ridden her yet? I wonder if you can really improve one by going with a later model 4 stoke chassis? I'd like to know what ya think when ya get her broke in.

It has 1.6 hours on it now, and I'm searching for a cleaner hit. Changed some jets, modified the float bowl of the PWK to allow access to the pilot and dropped the needle down today, so hopefully I have cleaned it up down low and if not, at least I can re-jet without pulling the subframe!! I honestly doubt you could improve the way this bike handles.... it has Showa CR250 Twin Chamber suspension on it, and the bike is flawless in terms of trackablilty, cornering, stability, and front end feel.

I'm running 12/49 for gearing and it pulls like a raped ape, but I wouldn't mind a bit more lug power down low.

Definetly a Ripper!

Big thanks to Crguy2T for helping me out along the way with questions and hooking me up with the TI pegs, Carbon silencer and the RAD valve!

You don't have to cut and weld the pipe. It will work but fits nicer if you cut and weld the pipe. I've done server all and never cut the pipe. I am eventually gonna cut one and have it done like King's but the trick is putting the cr 250 hanger on the bottom dram rail. The 02-07 pipe works you just have to play with it some to get it to fit just right. Sorry not trying to high jack the thread. King has a badass 125.

No worries about high jacking! I do have the 250 hanger but still had trouble getting the mouth of the pipe square on the exhaust flange (05-07 pipe). That's why I cut and welded the pipe.... I'm sure I could have laid the high-temp silicone thicker and been fine, but I had to have it flush.

Yes,

03 KX125 on an 02 CR125 with 96 HPP top end. Needs minor mods to fit but test ride went well.

Sweet build, BTW..........

I have been very curious about the 03 Kx pipe on the cr I've heard good things just never pulled the trigger.
