He got a whole shitload of people interested in the GP's for one thing.

What would like him to do to "give back"?

I feel very privileged to have witnessed him race in person, and the respect I have for him won't change a bit if he never races professionally again. A lot of folks take shots at his character, but personally I like him.

I bet HRC, Suzuki, Yamaha, and Rockstar wished their ridersWhistling contributed as many championships to their brands as RV2 did for KRT and Monster. I think their pretty happy with their investment over the last 9 years. After all, I think that is the main reason they hire and keep a rider for so long.

Just as a small note, KRT is the European team, KMC is USA.

You poor little delusional bastard haha Laughing

You know RV and James both are great champions. It's really not that hard to appreciate both for different things they have done in their careers. What sucks is , when stalker fans like yourself turn every single RV or JS thread into some kind of a dick measuring contest. " Yeah but my guy's better ".....ok? And when you say the most popular rider in the world , that right there is another personal opinion in which has no merit. Do you think ANY of the GP followers would agree with that? Hell , there is a lot of SX and national followers that wouldn't agree with that. But that little world you live in , I guess anything is possible.

Over all the years on this board , I swear the Stewart nut huggers have to be the biggest loud mouth douche' bags this boards ever seen. They can't appreciate other riders and their insane comments just boggle the mind.

Side note : please remove the set of black balls firmly planets on your chin and try to respect the sport and all the riders in it. Jesus Christ!

Well we had a great 4th of July celebration with RV2, he was just a big kid out in the front yard setting off a huge pile of fireworks for his nephews and nieces. Him and his cousin, my son, were the pyrotechnicians for the evening and it was probably the best 4th of July celebration the family has had in years. The smile on his face the whole day as he spent time with his family was priceless. I would like to thank KRT for allowing him to stay for this special time with his family.

That there is awesome, what it is all about. Glad he and his family can enjoy quality time.

Still looking forward to seeing him back on the track though!

Thanks for the update!

I can't picture RV acting like a big kid & setting off a pile of fireworks with a busted arse. Is he cleared to ride? Based on what Jt$ said and RV's silence, it's probably only a legal matter between him Kawi at this point. Uncle's last sentence is purely tounge-in-cheek IMHO. Best celebration in years...busted azz...what's up Uncle?

I suppose you can, but the scene described is not what I would expect from somebody who is out with an injury from a high profile GP team who supposedly isn't aware of their rider's condition. Sorry if I'm degrading the quality of the site for you...I'll try to do better. I guess the announcement will clear things up.

Everybody with half a brain is "aware of his condition"... and I'm pretty sure lighting fireworks can be done with an injured tailbone. Riding a chopped out GP track at an elite level might be a little different don't you think?

Mind numbing.

I guess I don't have "half a brain" and poor reading comprehension as well. I've read lots of stuff about him recently but don't recall anything pertaining to his condition or when he might ride or race again. You know...the stuff you normally hear when a rider is out with an injury. Please excuse my ignorance, would you care to enlighten me, I am a fan of RV.

Really?

He broke his tailbone in 3 places. Many guys have testified that even a bruised tailbone takes a long time to recover from let alone that. I'm a big fan and I can grasp the idea that he's going to be out for a while and might not come back at all. It's just not that hard to understand, at least for myself, maybe I'm gifted?

C'mon dude, I know it's popular around here lately to take a shot at RV cause he didn't tweet you but maybe just give it a rest.

So you think it's not reasonable for the Team, Sponsors and Fans to have even a small update every few weeks?

Some of you guy's lose your mind when others just want a little info. Call it "gifted" but it seems more like "Special"

How do you know the team and sponsors don't know what's going on?

Edit: Anyone that saw that crash, and that was a shitload of people around the world, and not understand that he's going to be out for a while, is truly "special".
