Well im guessing , and it is a guess, that the GP spec bikes dont get run at British because they dont need to , the GP bikes have been less than reliable.

If he could get a bike from CLS , different story.

I see, well it's an improvement from last year. They couldn't get a bike to run at the British nor a GP. Just think the lad deserves a chance! Has proved he's got the speed to do it!

I wouldn't pick an MXdN team on whether you think a rider is grumpy or not...

Searle has been a standout at almost every MXdN he's raced, not only for team GB but overall, regardless of 450/250. If he's ready to go, you'd be stupid to leave him out.

Simpson is the only "no-brainer" pick at the moment. Wilson / Searle / Anstie then comes own to form closer to the time. All are capable on the 250 & 450

No way you're picking dean over Shaun, no way! You'd be out of your mind.

Shaun is pick one right now, form, consistent, strong, and you know he lays it down.

Max is definitely pick 2, fit, finding some form but inconsistent yes, we still have a few months for him to settle. Plus he's the only guy on the 250 right now, stepping down is ok but when the other two options haven't ridden for god knows how long it's no longer an option. They'll barely be upto world class pace on their own bikes.

Tom and Dean, whoever comes back stronger really.

No, Tommy and Deano were solid in Latvia, people get hurt , its the sport . but Anstie wont finish because the bike will grenade itself.
exactly! anstie can win races on a good day, whenhe doesn't crash and his bike stays in one piece...

assuming tommy and dean are fit then they have to be picked on the strength of their performance in Latvia. Simpson is already on the team sheet, and for good reason. Hes consistently up there in mx1. I'd put Searle on the 250f again, deano and simpson on 450s.

its only july, they've got 2 and a half months to train / ride their way back into shape...

Simpson and Anstie already confirmed for mx1 and mx2... I'd put Searle in the open always does well at the nations! Aslong as they all stay fit, quite a strong team.. ACU are to tight to get dean over from the states Again lol

Would love to see Wilson give the GPs a go - if only because he's British and a potential race winner. And we don't have too many of 'em at the moment.

Deano should get into the adult film industry, it would be probably be way safer and he could get a whole season in Smile

I can't wait to see him back out there, the kid is fun to watch ride and if healthy and in shape I think he could be a podium threat from time to time. Glad to see him back riding....

Purely my opinion...but I think Dean would be more successful in the GP series than in our two series here in the States. Yeah, he's talented & has tons of potential (and DeCoster is no dummy)...but I just don't see him fast, and consistently fast enough to beat any of the guys that are running top-five right now. And, with some really fast guys coming up...it'll be tougher to do next year than this one!

I think his attitude, irreverent sense of humor, U.S.-style aggression & his international background might be the breath of fresh air the GP's need right now!

My pick has nothing to do with being grumpy it's just how I think Searle comes across to me, but if he and Wilson both come back and race strong how do you pick????

Deano constantly updates his fans, oh and his team seem to know where he is, what promo he is doing for them while not racing and when he's back also, imagine that. A professional at work some may say.

Back to Deano, he's been on the bike riding for a bit. In fact Transworld did a section on him in June.

There's vids, pics and a story for those genuinely interested
