Flavor-Flav - He doesn't get enough credit. He can actually play multiple instruments and he added something to PE that got them that push over the top. BTW, 911 is a Joke was a pretty groundbreaking song. He's not a top 10, or top 100 rapper though.

Violent J/Shaggy 2-dope - Had to look it up, but I know who they are!! Lol!! I can't get past the makeup so I can't say if they are good or not.

I'm an old school guy, but I like current stuff too. My hay-day was Run-DMC, EPMD, Tribe, Das EFX, Wu-Tang Clan, Biggie, but I also like current acts as well!! There are also a lot of guys out there with crazy flow like Joell Ortiz that don't get much press.

Either way, I'm pretty diverse. I've got Chromeo, Blur, Ingrid Michaelson, and Sara Bareilles in my playlist too! :-)

Flavor-Flav was always seen as like a "hype-man" type character, but he was actually a REALLY good rapper. Most people don't know anything about him other than how weird he is lol (I just googled him and he's like almost 60 years old now, which is nuts!!)

Same goes for Violent J & Shaggy 2-dope, most people can't see past the makeup, but they (and the rest of ICP) are suuuper talented and are one of the gems in the music industry in that they are more concerned with their fans appreciating their music than they are about making money.

Yeah, Tech n9ne rocks a lot of makeup and I don't really fuck with him either. Doesn't mean that those guys can't rap though, but the makeup is what gets me.

Gucci is a street dude that just so happens to rap. He's got a couple of songs that I like though. I know that most people think that rappers are fake thugs, but he actually killed a dude. A chick set him up and two guys were actually going to kill him, but he took one of the guys guns and shot him. I think that the other guy got away. He knocked a chick out on stage one time too. He's pretty crazy.

It's soooooo funny how people tell other people to "let it go", but they can't do the same. If Taylor Swift can let that shit slide why can't the fans???

Yup. Looks to me like this guy is just using the fact that so many people hate Kanye as an excuse for him to be a massive attention whore. A drunken Kanye interrupting someone out of passion for what he felt was a bad decision is a bit different than some barely famous comedian wanting to get his name in articles and get more twitter followers. Not to mention that Kanye admitted what he did was a mistake and apologised for it many times.

Yet he continues to do it again and again.

Are you talking about the Beck thing? Although he felt strongly about that decision as well, I think him getting up on stage was more of a joke in reference to the previous incident. I'm not saying he hasn't done stupid shit and that you have to like him or anything, but it seems to me that most people who hate on him just blindly base their opinion on whatever the media says and don't really take the time to try and understand him and his work.

Do you ever get tired of defending the black man in every instance right or wrong? I'm assuming you don't know Kanye personally. Honest question.

Apparently this is What Mr West had to say about himself after he finished his set at Glastonbury. Does he just like to say stupid things to attract attention and the inevitable criticism he knows it will result in?

He didn't say that after the show, he said it during the show. And he shouted it out, at least three times.

The guy is a fucking moron.

Defend.............I simply posted a video to show that the guy is trying to turn over a new leaf. Do you ever get tired of having such a closed mind?

I hate to tell you this, but most entertainers feel that way about themselves whether they say it or not.

Some of them can even back it up. Unfortunately Kanye can't.

If you've got the nerve to declare yourself "the greatest living rockstar on the planet" infront of millions of people then you should be able to cover one of the worlds most recognisable songs without sounding like an average Joe in the shower at the very least. Learning the lyrics is also a plus.

And before you arrive at the conclusion that, as an Englishman, I must be crying about the butchering of song by a British band, I don't even particularly like Queen.
