MX During College?

I went to college, got a degree (miraculously) worked part time at a dealership and raced every weekend in the A class, all while attending college. Now I'm a roofer and can't afford a bike. You make the call. Moral of the story is that if you don't prioritize your education don't bother getting one, there are plenty of other things you can be successful at.

most likely you aren't and you'll either spend your whole life studying to get a M.E degree or drop out and switch to business

not trying to be a dick but are you sure you're smart enough to get a mechanical engineering degree?

most of the "moto" people i've met weren't the brightest bulbs out there.. lol
I tried to do the same thing and it worked for one semester. Time wise I was able to cope with it (wed-sat-sun), money was the issue though. And I have to disagree with you here on the brightness - managed to finish both bachelors and masters despite the numerous concussions Silly

I got a BSEE and rode all the damn time. Even talked some of my new friends into getting into MX. It was awesome.

I read this thread everytime I miss my bike and it makes me feel better knowing there are guys who have completed uni while not riding.
My Situation: I live 2 hours from home and some days I love uni while other days I am on a downer and miss my bike. I have been at uni doing engineering for 10 weeks now and between work and school, I don't get much time to ride. If I go home, I'm there to see family, and drive back to uni to get stuck into my studies.

Though if I could store my bike at uni, I think I could probably ride once every 2 weeks.

I missed the time frame this year, but I will be joining a whole bunch of clubs next year. They will keep me busy and will dress my resume up well.

Feel free to message me if you want to know any more!
