Roman Febvre / Italy

Febvre is the real deal. That crash come back on the twisted bike seals the deal. 99% of the top riders in the world pull off if they bend a lever. His bars were trash. Not sure how he even did it.

That was a very well deserved overall win.

I'm not a true fan of too many Euro riders - not a dis... But I must say after watching that crash and the effort he put in to "racing" afterwards was the stuff of legend. Kinda like Magoo back in the day.

I imagine not too many racers today on either side of the pond would've done what he did.

I'm now a fan of his for his don't give up attitude! I was sure he'd pull into the pits, but he didn't!

DeCoster better recruit this dude. Old school. He flat out goes for it and I get the sense from his interviews that he doesn't see any reason why he shouldn't be at the front winning Motos.

This guy is going to be a champion. That was one of the gutsiest performances ever to be passing guys in those gnarly conditions with badly bent bars and no front brake.I would love to see him here!!

Wow, he is very lucky his bike somehow flipped around him and didn't hit him. Definitely a stud to keep going with bars like that.

When he got up and started charging, he made an instant fan on this side of the pond out of me. I'm probably not the only one.

It was definitely an impressive ride. As the race unfolded, I kept expecting him to give up and pull into the pits, but he toughed it out and turned me into a fan as well.

Not only bent like shit. Also no front brake on a slippery track.

I've been eyeing this kid for a while now. It's safe to say that after yesterday, he's my new favorite GP rider. Hell, he's probably my favorite between both series.

You're good! How'd you guess? Nah but really, I have ordered the GP races for the past 5 seasons. I'm not one of guys that watched for the first time this year because of RV's Involvement. Cheers....

It's kinda odd
Dean Ferris went 1-1 in 250 race year or two ago..
Ferris was at best similar speed to m.moss in Australia.
While jvh n fevbre have exceeded expectations in their first year 450...
C.Charlia n coldenoff are dissapointing on the 450 n struggling .
Ferris great in first year 450, second year not so much.

Well I wouldn't call Coldenhoff a failure,
soon we heading to the more sandy circuits (top 10 is still realistic) not bad for a rookie

Funny, early on in the season it was very quiet on the Febvre bandwagon,
but now everyone is jumping on the bandwagon Smile Wink

Agree, Coldenhoff is doing just fine. He needs some time to get adjusted to the 450.

Been a Febvre fan since I first saw him in the EMX250 races.
At Gaildorf in 2011 he crashed pretty bad right in front of me, dusted himself off and raced back to 5th or something.
Great kid, never gives up.

rode with febvre when he was pre season training in Holland- very talented kid that puts the work in. nice guy too. Was great to see him take the overall again yesterday, he's not far behind cairoli in the points now- one mistake from nagl and this kid is in with a shout at the title!!

he definitely won himself a lot of fans yesterday with that ride. Didn't even think twice about jumping back on the badly damaged bike and going flat out again- badass!!

And that was the ride that won him the title against ferrandis, right?
I was there too but didn't see the crash.
His progress is incredible, ferrandis was on another level speedwise back then
