You win tough guy
Not sure when / if he'll return to the GP's this year. Was hoping he would use the first part of the season to find his true form and then he gets hurt. And with this being his last year , way behind on points , I dunno man I just don't see him coming back. Wait , I take that back. I could see him back out there finishing the series , but it won't be a balls out effort. What's the point?

It's impossible to state "I once broke my tailbone and was back on the bike in x weeks" I once broke my wrist and it took 3 months until I was comfortable on a bike again, broke the same wrist 4 years later and raced within 4 weeks.... Each injury takes it's own time.
I for one would love to see him give it another shot next year!!!!
Per Cycle News; Ryan Villopoto will not compete at that this weekend's Motocross Grand Prix at Matterly Basin in Great Britain. Villopoto recently return to the U.S. to seek treatment and rest on his injured tailbone, but recently discovered further injury to his spine. Below is a release from his Monster Energy Kawasaki team:
The specialist medical team working with the 4-time US Supercross champion confirmed the coccyx injury and also discovered an L4 compression in Ryan’s lower spine. Upon close examination, X-rays indicated that the injured bone material is healing but not at the speed either the Monster Energy Kawasaki Racing Team rider or his advisors would hope.

He immediately countered and tried to take Desalle’s front wheel out and put him in the bank on the exit of the turn. Desalle didn’t put a dirty pass on Villopoto but the American wasn’t used to being pushed around like this and he didn’t like it. From there Villopoto stopped riding like he had been and focussed on Desalle, he was angry and when Desalle got to the inside on the pit straight Villopoto knew he he had to cut across Desalle again to prevent the pass. RV gave it a handful while trying to get across to the left hand side to block Desalle and simply looped out."
Wow. The idiot who wrote that must have never ridden a dirt bike race in his life I guess.
regarding the rv situation- I think its terrible that someone in his position isn't giving the fans updates on his condition/ plans on returning. Would love to see him race some more gps this year, not sure what to make of the rumours that even the team don't know what he's up to
hopefully he will surprise us all, come back to racing soon and then announce that he is racing gps in 2016 (along with herlings going in mx1)
Pit Row
I get fed up with all the anti UK people on here suggesting we go on a GP forum, what they seem to forget about a world championship is that all the fans speak different languages making forum discussions difficult, that's why there are so many English speakers on here.
Must stop coming back and do some bloody work!!!!!!
But the last doc message after his crash was ryan can ride the next GP. He will have pain but he can ride if he want.
Thats all we know and what happened? Nothing! No Answer, No Comment, Nothing.
Villopoto reminds me of Carmichael
Not the Carmichael of 2007
No
Not that one
The one now, the fat little troll in the booth with Emig and Ralph
Imagine threatening fat troll RC to come out of retirement and then saying , desalle , nagl , ciaroli , everts etc... are better than him?
It's all fake hope building up only because the last few mxon's have been tough for the USA and now the best, richest, racer in the world is struggling ?
It's given allot of false hope to the B CLASS (aka FIM riders) whom not one of would top 10 hangtown or Glen Helen
We thought the broken down old champ could still dominate the B CLASS but he can only muster 4th place finishes on tracks his competitors know in their sleep
Sad to see all this false hope! On both sides!
Seeing one of the best riders struggle so bad & seeing the B squad acting like they can make a supercross night show or do a top 20? at an AMA nat!
The only FIM riders who can hang with AMA guys on the pinnacle of mx tracks, in the pinnacle of the sport are already there! Reed, Musquin, Pourcel, Roczen etc...
If RV2 or MA800 top 10s a GP , that would mean Tomac would eat their babies!
It's embarrassing and my faith is restored a little that nobody has dignified it with a reply.... Oh dear thread over have a nice day people of the moto WORLD!!!!!
