He knew the rule before he made a stink about it, he just needs a way to stay relevant so he bitches about something.

Pretty amusing to see him talk such a big game and then do nothing. What about his comment in SX after the black flag? "We'll let the lawyers figure it out" or whatever he said, nothing came of that either.

Come on Chad, you can't compare Nascar to MX. Nascar has a tire rule. Can you imagine trying to set up your own private deal to broadcast live action camera shots from your own Nascar race car team? Sprint wouldn't put up with that shit.

Chad is my favorite rider and has always been, but i have to say that the fly camera thing has been just painful to watch. Yes the rules suck, but ffs. It's mid season and a business man like Chad should know that it would be impossible to get away from a big contract(GoPro-MXsports/NBC/whatever) like that.

Let's just hope Chad can do some damage this season, although he doesn't want to be riding.

There is a whole lot of stupid in this thread.

Chad was fighting for himself but while doing that he was also fighting for every other racer in this sport.

Haters want to say he's whining but he takes a stand and fights for what he thinks is correct. That should be respected. Not many others if any will do it these days.

I don't think there is disrespect towards him for wanting better opportunities for himself and the other riders.

Saying he might just boycott the rest of the outdoor series and the manner in which he handled his objections to something that wasn't going to be changed no matter what anybody said or did is what people had issue with.

Sometimes he acts like he doesn't get the respect he thinks he deserves but in most cases it just boils down to the fact that he just wants it his way.

Think back, in his mind he has had an issue on at least one occasion with somebody screwing him around for several years in a row now.

Name another rider who has had so many conflicts that pertain to abiding by agreements and rules in place and also the way in which they handled it.

The poorer his results are the more bitter and harder to get along with he gets. It's a tough deal for a champion like him to go through when their careers are winding down, but I can't think of a rider that has handled it worse than him.

Nothing will take away the accomplishments he has acheived, and they are stellar, hopedully when the time comes he finds a way to go out smiling and less controversial.

Reed could sit out and give his gear and plastics to JS7 and im sure he would be glad to fill in for him and probably get some good results haha

Chad is just looking for an excuse to get out of the outdoors this season. This whole fuss was just a dog and pony show to keep the 360 money coming and at the same time, he was fishing for support from Discount Tire to walk away from the series. Obviously that didn't happen so Chad lined up and rode around all day.
