Spoke to Dean at the British MXGP. Said he would be back on a bike in about a month but probably another 2 months before he's race fit. Been a major knee reconstruction and you can't rush that until it's strong again.

Ask Pro Circuit. One of those national number one plates on the rig belongs to him. Fair few supercross wins for those guys too. My guess is they're more than happy with the return they got from him.

He's been in Europe for the past weeks / months from what i've seen. He did a track interview during the Valkenswaard GP. And during the GP of Brittain he joined the TV broadcast to commentate some of the motos. Such a bummer he has had so many unfortunate injuries.. Hope he can get full healed and keep on building for once.

He's a National champ, multi-time 250 SX winner and has shown raw speed out-qualifying eveyrone at Daytona in between a fuck ton of injuries...

If you're gonna bag on him for what has basically been some repeated bad luck there is a long fucking list of MX'ers who also deserve–but actually don't–the same shitty comments.

If Deano comes back next year and has a lackluster year finishing 7-12, maybe a top 5 here or there, where does he land after KTM? another factory ride? My two biggest questions....will he EVER get the arm pump issues figured out that have unfortunately cut short many a pro racers career, and will he get the mental issues figured out during his time off the bike? I don't think he will, but i hope he does because i think he's great for the sport.

Nope, nothing sensitive at all, just a statement of facts.

MX is a bitch sometimes, nothing Deano has done has been about making his own luck bad. There are a fuck ton of racers who have had it worse than good, and a good portion of those with the talent to have really prosperous careers. It's not like you watch Deano and half close an eye waiting for a crash.
