Well, how many times this season has the title been given away so early. Yea, Ken is back in points, but what happened to Dungeys bike at GH. Did they ever find the actual problem. If not, could rear it's ugly head again. Poof, -25 points.
Also, didn't they say Bagget was going to ease into this season and turn it up by the mid point. Plus if Cannard can get back out there and get back to speed, as well as Barcia. I think Barcia is slowly getting better and if ken can cut the gap by half, I could see things develope nicely for the second half.
So for me, I ain't predicting shit.

To add to your appraisal, Bagget did very well at Tennessee last year. Yes, I know he was on a 250 last year, but I believe he is getting more comfortable on the big bike.

If Roczen wins 15 of the remaining 18 motos and places 2nd in the other 3 and Dungey wins 3 of the remaining 18 and places 2nd in the other 15....

the final points will be Roczen 534 Dungey 533

That's a very tall order. Sounds like Dungey may need a DNF if Ken has a great chance to overtake him.

will we see a lot of dungey settling for 2nd place if Kenny is out front?

Yeah. I don't expect him to push any harder than he feels he needs to. Some will take that as the easy way out, but if he wins the title, he will still be considered champ. Some can't accept this mindset, but honestly, if any of us were in his position, would we or wouldn't we do the same.

Just to clarify 2 stroke, I'm not referring to you. I'm only replying to your comment which is probably spot on.

I'll add. It's a shame that Ken didn't begin the season healthy and that Eli crashed out. Then there would be no questioning Dungey's tactics.

I don't know, he has a wife now who probably likes the win bonus.

what is the story with Ken's back? Is it healing? Or will it be the same until he has an op? If the same can happen...

If the same can happen that happened at Hangtown then its going to make things pretty difficult I would have thought

It was mentioned on the show multiple times the last week or so, wasn't it , I believe it came from Suzuki via weege.

But unlikely that he will race MXoN if that is true I would think?
Good point. Just going on what was said.

Well clearly he has choices to make when it happens, ama season, mxdn, SX. What's the easiest to get through ?

Yep. Ryan Roczen wil win the title. Or Kenny Dungey. Or vice versa.

Given that the AMA season finishes at the end of August, I think that he'll have the op straight after that. Waiting a month till after MXdN will probably put him behind on his SX testing.

That's just how I see it playing out. I'd love it if he raced the MXdN though

cheers

yeah epidural also covered here http://racerxonline.com/2015/05/22/racerhead-21?lb ...... judging by the difference he felt between the two motos looks like they should be able to stay on top of it as long as it doesn't deteriorate

knowing this now i'd be very suprised if he rode MXDN but will be a difficult decision as he'd surely be killing Germany's chances if he pulled out

Roczen just needs to stay in it and gain every point possible even if it's behind Dungey in some motos and all he can do is put himself in a position to capitalize if Dungey has a mishap, he's the only one capable of stopping RD right now.

Last year they were pretty much evenly matched. Roczen won by 14 points.

This year Roczen has had issues and Dungey has the points lead. So far Roczen has lost points to Dungey in every moto. Ken will get back on form but I do not think he is just going to start dominating and Dungey will be unable to do anything about it.

I think we know more after this weekend. Ken can dominate the battle when he is in top Form. He can be smart and steady enouth to beat a Dungey.
