I believe the way it's worked in the past for the US is that the first (MavTV ) motos are available to everyone, but your provider has to carry NBCSN in order to access the second motos. So, it's a solution if your carrier doesn't have Mav, but not if the carrier doesn't carry NBCSN. Apparently is some artifact of the way the bigger networks control the live broadcast. Archives open to everyone.

Well that works for me because the stream has got to be better than the crap SD coverage on Mav/DirecTV.
Huge bummer for everyone that will miss seeing it live though. Sad

Do you know if it works different for international feeds? I am just now joining the 21st century and figured out how to use Hulu to watch SX, maybe we can do the same for MX?

You have to be able to prove you pay for the channel to stream the 2nd motos. So you'll need your login and password for your provider.

I don't know what international feeds there will be, but I imagine if there is one, it will be a pirated stream. The first motos should work on promotocross.com for everyone though.

They are still working on this but if you're in a country that does not have an affiliated TV channel that shows Lucas Oil Pro Motocross, then you should be able to watch all four motos on www.promotocross.com (including England, Rob Kinsey!)

Look for a how to watch guide shortly.

From the PR i just received:

UNITED STATES

Practice/Pre-Race Show
Online: 1:30 p.m. ET, ProMotocross.com and NBC Sports Live Extra (LIVE)

This year will feature an extended live pre-race show. Tune in starting at 1:30 p.m. ET to catch the second practice session, then stick around for the pre-race show counting you down to the first motos of the day.

The second practice session and pre-race show will only be available online and viewable on ProMotocross.com and the NBC Sports Live Extra mobile app (iOS / Android).

Moto 1
Online: 5:00 p.m. ET, ProMotocross.com and NBC Sports Live Extra (LIVE)
TV: 5:00 p.m. ET, MAVTV (LIVE)

Once again this year, MAVTV will air first motos from all 12 rounds live. Use the MAVTV channel finder to see if you currently get MAVTV. You can also use the link to request that your cable provider carry MAVTV if they currently do not.

The live stream of first motos can also be viewed online via ProMotocross.com and the NBC Sports Live Extra mobile app (iOS / Android).

Moto 2
Online: 7:00 p.m. ET, ProMotocross.com and NBC Sports Live Extra (LIVE)
TV: 7:00 p.m. ET, NBCSN (LIVE)

Once again this year, NBCSN will air most second motos throughout the season. (A few select 450 Class motos will air on NBC instead.) Use the NBCSN channel finder to see if you currently get NBCSN in your area.

The live stream of both second motos can be viewed online via ProMotocross.com and the NBC Sports Live Extra mobile app (iOS / Android).

Please note: In order to watch a live stream of an NBCSN broadcast, you have to verify your cable provider. Live Extra is a service offered through participating cable, satellite and telco TV providers that allows you to watch Motocross coverage of live events on NBCSN. Don't see your provider? Contact your provider by clicking here to express your interest in receiving this service. Provide your email address and they will contact you once your provider has been added. They are actively working to add additional TV providers to this service, and recent additions include Cox, Charter and DirecTV.

Last year I was on the road, I avoided reading who won then watched Monday when all 4 motos were on line. That's nice that Davey allows that.

This sounds really good for international fans.
Supercross this year had a big improvement (allthought we had to fake our location for some reason ...) with being live-streamed it's cool to see the Outdoors follow this.
Looking forward to all the shows tomorrow! Thanks DC.

I got to give credit where it's due. I am one of those that lost mavtv due to dish network. Those first two motos went off perfect for me. I still have nbcsports so we on to the tv now to watch the 2nd motos!!

DC probably not your issue but we're not getting sound on either pay tv live or the pay tv web service down here. 1st motos through promotocross were fine... bit weird. Is broadcasting sound for ads which I assume come from the local hosts, but no sound for the racing.

I actually like listening to Weege!
