Why does everyone "need" a nickname? To me, the best nicknames just happen in the sport and have a story behind them, not a Vital post. Chicken, Showtime,Beast from the East, Bubba, GOAT, The Rock, and on and on.

Captain America.

He is the captain of the MXDN team since 2009 and I do not see why he should not be this year again.

I think this nickname is very respectful in regards to what he has already achieved, and based on how consistent and injuryfree he is, I bet he will still be captain in 2018. I do not know any other AMA rider that have been captain of the team for a decade !

Yeah, some of the nick names come across as forced. . . Not everyone needs a nick name. . . I don't think you'd ever get a guy like Dungey to call himself by anything other than his name.
