IDK, but Byron IL has got to be in the running for the title.

I raced Byron in the early 70s.

I think byrons first race was in 1969. Might not be the first in the U.S. but it's got to be in the Midwest. The best part is there still going strong and growning.

Don't know but Bithlo Mx in Florida has been around since the 70's. I started riding there in 77 when I was 6.

Northern California, Carnegie has been an off-road place since the 60's, not sure when local races started but I believe the Inter-Am may have run there. Trans-AMAs since the first year (?).
I think Argyll opened in the 70's.
McGill's (Prarie City) since 72-23, there was an Inter-Am race near there but not where the park is now.

First Inter-Am race's were in 1967, not sure if there were much if any races called "MX" or "rough scrambles" before Edison Dye brought MX to the US (in a big way).

Arroyo Cycle Park might have been late 60s, I think they have a race or two this summer.

Would be interesting to see a book with the history of them and a bunch of old and new photos. Interview the owners and ask why they decided to start one. Any journalists out there??

This from Inter-Am Motocross history on Facebook. Hello everyone, I hope you are enjoying this as much as I have putting it together. I am almost ready to start 1970 but I am still trying to complete the 67-69 looking for anything on the Inter-Am at Pepperell 1967 , Sedan, Kansas Nov 5th 1967 and Seattle, WA Dec 3rd.1967 and Wichita KS Nov. 2 1968.

Tracks that are still in operation that have seen the test of time. Owyhee in Boise, Jeeps in Wichita have been around since the late 60's? Maybe longer. I've seen a poster for the Sedan, Ks Inter-Am. I did not know Wichita had an early Inter-Am also. I wonder if it was at the old Sprockets track in Rose Hill?

I think so too, it has I sign that says founded in 1934, but maybe as a motorcycle club, NESC has been around since 1958, capeway and central village are still running races
