Yep, Pirellis. Surprised Reed/Grant/Barcia/Peick aren't running them. Probably a good thing because the Kawasakis look like a John Deere with them. Barcia and Peick probably didn't get the memo because they were stuck out in the dunes.

Rubber tires are usually white in colour before they're colored black.

At least that's the way it used to be. Times and formulations may have changed over the years.

Actually when these were around for the Monster Cup, I read that they were black tires that had been painted yellow. Hence why the end of each knobbie is black

I work @ a rubber plant In Texas. They make brown,white & black bales of rubber. Spits out 78 lb chunks. So yeah, those yellow tires are gonna look that way even when they get bald.
