Maybe join a sports team/pool league/darts/dog parks etc.

My mother lost her man two months ago... She is still reeling and it has been so hard for me to watch her go through. I can only imagine your pain, and my greatest condolences go to you, from my big heart to your aching one. Not sure what to say except that I hope you one day find peace friend... Be patient and gentle with yourself. Big hugs.

Hey Jimmie, I know this is hard to believe but time will heal you. Of course, you would remember my wife, Mary. You know, the lady that used to sign you up at the races. I lost her to cancer a few years ago. You never really get used to the idea, but you will gain acceptance and peace as time goes by. Tilt a beer for Kelley and then another for the old days. thanks fred she's all i had she was my rock.. i'm lost with out her.. Not a good year for me I lose my house to a fire lose my girlfriend to cancer and i'ts only the 4th month of the year what's next?? the sky's going to fall on me?
