I get ya, but just did not see the OP as wanting to go deep into a custom ride and he looked more like a dude that wanted some grunt.

Each his own.

I loved my xcw, but for the first time in my life got more into MX than trails so I am thinking XC up next.

Your "better knowledge" is behind you, too.

Your comments on the KTM300 are among some of he worst POMMIE Ignorance I've seen.

My daily ride is a nicely prepped & maintained 450SXF; yet, I can honestly say...as someone that gets to ride ALL the current bikes and has done a lot of back-to-back testing...you're absolutely WRONG about the "KTM 300".

So, let's talk 2015:

The KTM300XC IS THE BEST 300 MADE.

I've tested it on an MX track, Hare-n-Hound, Endurocross & Enduro...

It does it all.
It does it Very Well.
It does it for less money.

I'm present at many of the US Endurocross races...I see the Betas. I see how well they work. They're not "Better". They are really good motorcycles.

Go ride these bikes back to back, tear into them & service them. Go get parts for them...

And do it on current bikes.

Then get back to us.

I've been ignoring my 500 lately and riding my 250SX. I put a 38mm lectron on the 500 and the smoother, snappier throttle response really cheered me up. After a few rides with the lectron I did something I thought I would never do, I put a Rekluse on the 500 and took it out Sunday. That was a pretty fun day.

Sometimes just changing it up is good.

As mentioned, you're not fooling anyone. You fucked up this thread by giving your opinion that the KTM 300s suck and why everyone should take your opinion for fact. No one took the bait (100% of posters have not shared your opinion), maybe you can post your pics of you and your mates in the woods in another thread while the OP gets some more actual opinions of a 2 stroke versus keeping his 4 stroke.

KTM fanboys overly sensitive? Lets see, I mentioned I have an SX and an RM and both are great, I have also mentioned I loved my YZ when I had it before my KTM, so please explain the fanboy comment. Actually don't, you are the most annoying poster on this site.

Lets summarize what you have added:
*I am illiterate
*you implied that me saying "lets ride 2 smokes" had to do with weed somehow
*If you don't consider a Bata, GasGas or Sherco you're a tool
*build a custom bike
*the KTM 300 SUCKS
*you have vast experience and knowledge over all bikes
*where you ride is Gods country (the OP is in Ohio)
*teamgreen doesn't know shit compared to your mate

Holy shit, the only part that is amazing is that you keep doing it and you don't seem embarrassed.

Don't mistake me for a troll because I call out someone for posting like a dumbass. I'm a part of muddying up the OPs thread so I apologize since it was an actual question about riding a bike. In general I'd say borrow a few 2-strokes to see if it rekindles the riding spirit for the dude.

I currently have a 14 yz450. I raced quite a bit last and accomplished several racing goals last year. This year I find myself not very interested in riding or racing and feel like a completely different bike may spark my interest. I bought a yz250 about 6 years ago and hated but all fairness I was riding mainly sand tracks and may not of gave it a fair shake before getting rid of it.
I find myself wanting a new YZ250 but I don't to regret it in a few months.
FYI if I buy one my only choice will be a yamaha. I'm 32 230lbs and a fairly fast 30 +...
i "ve been through this a few times, owned 250f, 450f, 250 2 stroke, switching bike sizes, 2 or 4 stroke & type of riding is good to get your mojo back. hit up some gncc"s, vintage races ect. Just do something different! I raced almost evry weekend 2 yrs ago, did not race one time last year, first time in 12 years I did not race something, did not miss it one bit, still rode alot, but did not worry about where, what bike & who with...almost forgot....I love 2 strokes in the sand! just like I love 4 strokes on the hard pack!

I wasn't clear, not that post specifically, most of your posts in general add up to embarrassment. I don't need to ride a Gas Gas or Sherco to know that what you posted was pretty stupid (saying the 300 sucks). I'm sure the others are great bikes as well. No one said the 300 is absolutely perfect, I don't think any of the bikes are to be honest.
Last I checked, the OP wasn't concerned with finding the most perfect/expensive bike known to man.

The best is you have to twist the throttle on a two stroke and the sound is music in the ears.

Sethbro, I like you, so I'm going to render the following advice: just stop now. You will not get in the last word, and shit will get weird really quick.

Did anyone catch where he keeps Ramblin' on about EXC no-linkers and I'd commented that the XC (linker) was "The One"...?

Funny

Today I was out testing with some guys I know...& some internet dude, too.

We had a laugh about all this.

My favorite part is where I don't know nuthin'...

Hey, "Captain Outback"? Next week I'm gonna Rip 1600+ miles "Off-Road"....REAL OFF ROAD. Then I'll return the bike to "my mate's shop" in Murrieta. Great guy. He's Swedish. His shop is right next-door to another cool guy's shop: he's Austrian & drinks A LOT of Red Bull.

I, on the other hand, prefer Rockstar.

I'm jus' sayin'...

I only raced one because I couldn't afford a four stroke. New job starts in May.....150s are a blast though. I had a 250 and it was too powerful for me.
