I normally don't bash on the guy - he does a pretty good job. But listening to him argue that Canard made up 10 points on Dungey after Dungey won, was pretty comical. He was obviously reading some list & avoiding common sense.
I've never forgave him for making fun of a kid that crashed in a arca race at Atlanta that ultimately died. It was on the backhaul feed so no one was hearing it but the booth,truck and control in Bristol ,espn headquarters. It was c band dish days and you could watch races without commercial.
He made fun of the kids dad crying and bitching about the delay while they cut him out of the car. Ralph didn't know he was dead but you knew it was very likely. Way before safe walls and it was the old Atlanta before flipping the finish line.
You could tell Ralph was trying to be the big guy,bolstering,know it all,got to be at the airpo by 11.

When Horton went over the fence at Talladega i was wtching. .the other car involved just rolls on down track and stops. I noticed when they cut to it fluid was running out from the door area. When the safety guy gets there you see him freak.

Never forget that,guy lived . Years later he was driving in a local shortrack and burned,wore no gloves and his hands melted. Can not recall that guys name.

When they posted that photo last night of RC and a young girl who was riding the KTM challenge in 1997 and Fro said i thought you both were riding the KTM challenge, it was one of the funnier moments f the season imo. Anytime they get on Ricky i laugh my ass off.
