Where are they now: Robby Skaggs, Richie Horton

If I'm thinking of the same Robby Skaggs, he's working for Dunlop/Gear in Corona. I can't remember if he goes to the races for not.

Remember them well from the mid 90s GNC Finals, Ponca, Lorettas, Pro Challenge etc. Remember one specific photo I took of Robbie at Whitney that's buried in a box around here. Seems like one or both raced at least a few supercrosses or outdoors.

I used to me an Operations Manager for a commercial GC... Had Robbie's Resume come across my desk applying for a Superintendent Position. That was probably 2005 or 6. Haven't heard what he's doing since.

The Horton bros were from GA and raced against Bradshaw all the time.

One of the Hortons was into supermoto. He was pretty good and was all tatted out.

That was 2006 or so.

Scaggs raced Loretta's last year and I think wrote a story in one of the mags about coming back to the ranch.

Back sometime in the late '90s early 2000s, I was at glen helen practicing on a Thursday, and this dude parked super close to us. Dude gets out of his car with a smile on his face and says "hey, what's up guys"? We were like heyyy... Turns out it was Robbie Skaggs and he was super friendly... There we were a bunch of no bodies and a national pro parks next to us and with a smile on his face starts conversation. Cool dude!

Richie Is Robbie Horton's older brother. Robbie was the one in Terrafirma video. Robbie had some very good rides in 125sx. He still whips up on the youngsters in the pro classes at the FMF indoor winter series(NC, TN, GA?). Not as familiar with Richie Hortons career. He was older, Robbie was close to my age(33).

Racer x did a where are they now a while back on brandes, seems like he was doing good living in nor cal. He had gotten married and had a kid I believe. Can't find the link tho
