Depends on what discipline and kind of track we are talking about to be honest. No doubt on my mind Herlings is the most technical rider on earth when it comes to sand tracks i've seen him ride at multiple rounds of the Dutch national series & sand GP's around here and it's just unreal how fast he is in the sand.
With that said in supercross i'd still say JS 7 the way he can pull the trigger on gnarly rythems is something insane. Just rewatch the Toronto 2014 sx and you'll know what i mean.
Other retired riders that come to mind are Windham i allways loved his style in supercross. Ofcourse SE 72 had a beautifull style back in the day i loved how he stood up so much.
More current riders would have to be the 2 Frenchman MM25 & CP377 funny how they're both French but i really dig the riding style they have. Musquin on route to his first SX title now .. With the KTM's so dialed it this could be a fun summer for outdoors in USA for the 250 class. Cooper Webb will be a beast this summer i have a feeling ...
