Obviously the starts were critical. For some reason it seems incredibly hard to work up through the field in these GPs

I thought Desalle's 2-2 beat RV's 1-3 for the overall...Or do they score things differently across the pond?

A Moto win gets you more points overall. It's like that here as well.

It`s the same as in USA
1st-25 points
2nd-22
3rd-20.

I didn't get to see the race, What happened to Carioli in moto1 and what happened RV in moto 2?

I assume both didn't have good starts.

Cairoli had a bad start in moto 1 , came though from well down to 5th, RV gated 8th in moto2 and got to 3rd after 2 laps , and then didnt have anything for AC or Desalle.

He was in third position by/on lap 3 and just 5 seconds down on Cairoli (in moto 2) who gapped him by over 20 seconds by the end, RV had the same traffic and clear track as Cairoli and Desalle. The starts were a big factor but clearly time could be made on this track.

Great race for the top three guys. Glad to see Cairoli do much better in moto 2. Desalle was really consistent, but I wasn't happy about Desalle's driving RV out to the banking twice on the starts. RV killed it in moto 1 and settled in moto 2.

That 2nd moto was what I have been waiting for since RV first announced his intention to race the GPs.
I'm not that bothered who wins, I just want to see the fastest mx racers on the planet face off and that's what we all had today, I'm stoked RV is coming to terms with GPs after an off weekend last week and stoked that the GP regulars are on pace with him. Let's settle in for an awesome summer of the greatest sport on the planet.

Those GP guys are being aholes to RV, riding VERY aggressive towards him purposely. It's ok, it won't work in the end for them.

I think Top 10 are fast. Considering RV was able to go from dead last + 15 seconds to 8th. As RV gets things figured out more and AC is able to turn up the speed, we should start to see some amazing racing.

Com'on like crossup said DeSalle pushed him wide and last week "The Spanish dude" takes him out. You know damn well they are trying to prove a point, I get it. Too bad it won't work for them in the end. This week he lapped the Spaniard...Grinning

Ok, these links are unbearable. every 2 minutes I get a Kaiser or some other commercial playing over the broadcast, couldn't stand it by the 2 lap. Can't for the life of me figure out how to stop it.

??? Should I be suicidal? Nope..... Iv just watched awesome motocross then spent the day prepping our bike for first championship round next weekend, it's my beautiful wife's birthday tomorrow so we both have the day booked off work and my boy is sat next to me cheerily singing along to a song I can't hear on his skullcandys..... Why would you think that?
