He is hurting. I don't think he is as fit as he normally is going into the season. He will be 100% soon enough though.
Funny how we didn't hear this after moto 1...
St ann who is you pic the whole field against the US rider.
Thats a big bug up your ass over RV having a good moto and practice race.
We dont expect you to be a fan or anything but
dont have to be a hater.

That podium looked fairly tense, none of the riders really acknowleding each other or even looking at each other

At his second MXGP....RV2 just won a race that has been dominated the last 4yrs by an 8-time world champion... Any Non-American that takes solace in that... better step back into reality.

I noticed that too. AC and RV no contact at all, Desalle and AC don't generally get on too well anyway.

In fairness to RV he probably doesn't know they usually shake hands on the podium. He seems pretty respectful in interviews and I think he just got a whole lot more respect for them in that second moto.

RV is defiantly dangerous. But so is cairoli
Correct me if I am wrong but none of these guys have been passed for any length of time they have both either got a good start and led or have been fighting through the pack. I can't see cairoli passing RV but I can see RV passing AC.
Cairoli is no fool and knows how to win a championship. What a season this is going to be ?

more to do with being totally fcked and wanting to get the hell outta there, me thinks.

I can see long sleeves to combat the sun, but a fucking coat? HAHA
It's not unusual to see people out and about in south east asia wearing thick woollen jumpers, coats and trousers in 100 degree heat, it's mental!

I was glad to see RV2 not go balls out and try to catch and win out of desperation... he took the win and moves on. People forget RV2 also knows how to win a Championship..

Funny how riding smart is suddenly all fine and dandy as soon as the roles are reversed.

Haha - everyone will always be the same, it's easy to design a scenario that matches the situation.

RV looked incredible in that first Moto, he was just so smooth.

But, AC out in front and controlled the shit out of it.

Anyone who says RV held it steady as he already had the win is insane, you don't win a championships by just having race wins, he needs every point he can.

Cairoli did his fastest lap of the weekend on the third lap of the final moto. (it was the fastest lap of the race too).

I don't think RV let those guys win that moto, he looked a bit shocked at their pace when he got interviewed and gave a lot of respect to Desalle and Cairoli for their second moto rides. I think he realized they were pulling away and then smartly settled for third, which got him the overall.

RV rode great in the first moto. But Cairoli was just as good in the second one. Awesome for the series that after RV puts such a dominant performance in, Cairoli responds immediately in exactly the same manner.

Finally got to catch up after being out all weekend, have to say that after the qualification race , and the track being pretty much an outdoor SX, i didnt see anything other than a 1-1 for RV , although knowing the guys would be saving themselves saturday , it was hard to say which way it would go.. but AC and Desalle proved again that its all about the races.

Im guessing RV thought that with a good start i race 2 it would be his, and getting to 3rd pretty much straight away, i guessed it would have been too, but AC did what AC does, and that is win races , even when he isnt having the best of weekends, and Desalle did what he does, which is get himself there and apply pressure.. the fact that he has gone 2-2-2-2 and been fastest qualifier at both rounds , and leads the championship tells you he is ready .

Paulin dragged 2 results out of a disastrous weekend and i still think we havent seen what he is capeable of either.

Cant wait for Argentina.

Alright, I'll say it...all you guys (from both sides) that are going back and forth over and over are coming off as petty. Some of the rationale you use to justify a finish, or discredit someone else's is just plain comical. Honestly, the only people y'all may be fooling with the ridiculous arguments is yourself. Just enjoy the races and shut your damn mouths (both sides).

I wanna know why his best lap time in the second moto was 2 seconds off in the first moto... Anyways awesome race by RV.

I think what you probably saw from RV was the same tactics he used against Townley when they were battling that first year at the Nationals. There was a definite pattern there that required a lot of race smarts and discipline. This looked to be similar.

Qatar looked like Red Bud compared to that shithole. What an awful track. I'm sure every last rider there couldn't wait to get out of that dump. Congrats to all the riders for still putting their heads down and racing.

It is like you guys forget that this is RV2 second MXGP in his life and he just beat a 8-time champion on a track that AC222 won 4 yrs in a row... I understand you must justify the loss... but the truth is he lost to a rookie in this series.

RV2 will just continue to get better with experience... Where is AC222 going?

Except maybe the fact this was only the third 3 time ever the GP was held in Thailand and this track wasn't the same as in 2013 and 2014?

#1 until friday , nobody on the planet had seen this track... it didnt exist until last week.

#2 the Thai GP at SI Racha was first run in 2013 ...

so quite how you win 4 years in a row on a track that didnt exist , in a country that held the race for 2 years ... well , you know , dont let the facts spoil a good post . 2/10
