The only thing I don't like about it is the clicker cutout for the rear shock is out of place. Otherwise looks great. Are there any other weird gaps or particular areas that look out of place up close?

Yeah its a little goofy but i think they did that so that the 2015 CRF graphics would line up. No gaps or anything, the only part that aggrevated me was the airbox covers popped out where they slide into the radiator shrouds when i rode the first time. But i just loosened them up, repositioned them and tightened everything back down. Ive ridden twice since then and they stayed in place. If anyone has any questions about the installation feel free to message me. Ill post my pics later

am I the only one who noticed that although the bike looks great with the new digs but they took pics to sell there product and left the nasty yellow stained fork guards on??????????

They definitely aren't doing themselves any favors with the nasty ass bike they put the plastic on in their advertising pictures. With that said, if I had a 02-07 honda 2 stroke, I'd be all over this like flies on shit.

Great looking bike, I heard rumor the plastics are made by Polisport ? Definitely gives the bike a more aggressive look.

Are you able to take some close ups of the airbox and fitment? I'm getting the feeling they might not want people showing how it fits together in fear of it being easily copied. I mean, I want to buy the kit but I'm not really wanting to sacrifice performance or quality because really this mod is 100% for looks, nothing else. Most of the guys on Thumpertalk are saying the 13+ plastics don't take too much effort to bolt up. The only thing the TX race kit has that would be beneficial is the seat. so effectively paying the cost of the TX Race kit, minus the cost of the plastics kit, is pretty much what you're paying for a custom seat.

I have no clue who makes the plastics. Im sure if you talked to the company directly they will be able to tell you. I cant wait to get my graphics so I can really see if theres any major difference between these and the 2015 CRF plastics.

This is the only pic i have of the airbox, i can take some more next time i go work on my bike. The only thing i dont like about this kit is that the air filter is more vulnerable to rear wheel roost, not directly but around the sides of the subframe. Its still pretty protected, but it does get dirty a little easier. Im thinking about modifying some plastic to seal up the gap.

Yeah I thought that everything would seal up better than it did. You cant really tell unless you get right up close to it. Believe me, the past 3 rides ive made since ive put the kit on were deep sand, mud, and water puddles up to the footpegs. The air filter didnt get as dirty as i expected with those openings around the subframe, but it got more dirty than it used to with the stock plastics on. I pretty much change my air filter every ride anyways so it doesnt really make a difference to me. As long as you oil your air filter properly you shouldnt have any trouble.

Okay, good to hear. I change my filter after every ride too. Not that I'm too worried about the filters getting to dirty, that's what they're for. I just hate it when it's a mess in the airbox, makes it a bitch to change filter. If enough mud gets inside the box the draining will get clogged and it will eventually fill up with water and sand.

Twin air and other brands make an air boot cover that screws on just like the filter does, very good investment. I just stuff the boot with shop towels just in case any water comes through, put that cover on, and pressure wash the living shit out of the air box. That way you can just take the seat off and get everything clean under there.

Yea, I know what that is. Have one of those too. Must have for pressure wash. But in some way you need to get the old filter out to get the cover in. And if it's a lot of mud in the airbox usually a lot of it ends up in the boot when you turn the filter to get it out. Guess I'm just a neat freak and want it tidy in there.

Oh believe me, im the same exact way. I dread having to do my air filter because of how paranoid i get about there being a tiny speck of dirt in the boot. Ive considered paying people to do it but i know they wont get it as clean as I do haha.

Hmmm, as much as I want to mod the plastics I think I'd be better off just modding the front end and shrouds and leaving the rear. I don't know, we'll see when you post up more pics. But for that price I'd expect a much better job.
