It's a fantastic place for circuit racing with a superb atmosphere - the venue is just simply a part of history and I love it there - there is never a dull race regardless of MOTOGP, WSB, BSB and it would be great to see that kind of atmosphere at the GP

You know, us Americans really look up to you Euros to keep the standards high for proper motocross tracks. The race in Qutar look like a county fair track on steroids and now in Thailand it looks like they set Ronny Mac loose on a cow pasture with a bulldozer.

Where the hell is the castles, snow fence and drunk brits with funny hats?

It seems slightly strange to me that anyone would opt to fly back to Europe and then back to Thailand later in the week. Flights from Europe to Bangkok are 12 hours + and Dubai or Qatar are common refueling stop-offs. Flights from Qatar to Bangkok are around 6 hours. Any incremental improvements they might make to the bike in Belgium could well be undermined by Jetlag if they leave it late to acclimatise.

Herlings flies in on Thursday at these races, and leaves asap back to Europe.
I read somewhere he hardly needs to adapt to the local time that way.
It works best for him.

Imagine all the riders are adapted to the Asian timezone after this weekend.
They fly back to Europe, spend a week here and fly to Argentina to a third timezone in two weeks and then back to Europe again making it 3 jet legs in two weeks...
How does that mess up the body?

I once spent 4 weeks in the USA, came back home for a week and went off to Australie for 10days.
When I came back from Australia my body had no clue when to eat or sleep anymore.

I think you might be confusing the images above, probably because they're both situated next Motor Racing circuits.

Assen shown in the illustration above is a Dutch track, the photographs show the track they'll be racing in Thailand this weekend. Both are brand new circuits for 2015.
