I am sick of seeing Barcia run out of gas. Damn they had to have shown that thing a dozen times.

Think of it this way. They only go to commercial during breaks in the racing. Say they stay with the guys in the booth instead of cutting away to commercial. That means you get to listen to Ralph, Fro ( God love him ), and Ricky stumble through ad-libbing topics of MX/SX. The commercial ( which I also loathe ) is the lesser of the 2 evils in my book, Plus it pays for the broadcast.

I know Toyota is a series sponsor, but you think they could at least have a couple in the can to show instead of the same one over and over. I liked it the first few times, but damn it's old.

I sort of agree with you mx317, toyota can easily throw in a couple of their generic commercials to mix it up. However, it's not like toyota gives a shit whether or not us SX viewers are sick of their commercials. What matters is that there name is put out there and that commercial is definitely doing that

I am almost don't like Toyota's now because of that commercial is on so much. They have to have other commercial's to put in that rotation.

And who does win the race back to camp?

I think I'm going to drive my Toyota off a cliff today because this thread made me realize how much I hate running out if gas in the desert. Or is it dessert?

I guess I'm not the only one, from MXA:
A NEW SUPERCROSS RECORD: Have you seen the Toyota TV ad where Justin Barcia runs out of gas and Weston Peick drives up in a Toyota truck to rescue him? Sure you have, and you have, and you have, and you have. In what must be a Supercross TV commercial record, that Toyota spot ran 9 times on Fox Sports 2. Much like the “Rocky Horror Picture Show,” fans at home where able to memorize the dialogue and say it along with Justin and Weston by the time the night was over. We are pretty sure that Toyota has more than one TV commercial in their vault, but since they don’t pay for the television commercials on the Supercross show (it is given to them as a series sponsor), some ad agency drone rubber-stamped that commercial for Saturday night. It made for a very long night and turned the viewers off.

We could go back to the alternative.. dialing a 900 number for race results! Commercials pay for it to be on TV.. I remember having to wait weeks to watch the race and never live!! We are damn lucky that our shitty small sport has any TV coverage. You have to remember golf, bowling and curling draw more of a viewership than MX

On the other hand they could agree to maintain the status quo and never work to improve the broadcast ever again.

One of the reasons why I don't watch it Saturday night (another is that I have a life) so then I can fast forward through the ads on Sunday morning.

Im usually up grabbing a beer during the commercials or go on twitter so I don't pay to much attention, but some people just like to complain because they have a hard life so I understand

One reason companies pay for advertising is to make impressions. To get people to talk about and remember their name.

This ad (not 'add') has done exactly that. Y'all are talking about Toyota.

Score for Toyota!

I don't know man, responding to a thread is MORE than starting a new thread? I do not think so.

lol I love the raptor from the front but for some reason the rear fender flares look odd to me. I do like those tundra's.
