That Aldon Baker`s biggest asset is not that he gives his riders physical strength but mental.

Aldon is a bad dude! I a convinced it's no co incedense that Dunge is moving forward and Roczen backwards given the Bake circumstance. Comming from a RocZen fan and usually saying Dungey is consistent. I believe Baker helps the Dungey get that fire he's been needing.

Ha, it`s 5.12 am. Haven`t laid my head on a pillow yet. And it was worth it.

Are you suggesting Ken was a bit of a head case tonight after his digger in practice?

I read Kongols post as being more about Aldon's affect on Dungey rather than Kenny's results without him. If that's where he was going, I agree with him 100%.

You got that right. Dungey is a changed man. He even talks and acts different. And you can see confidence in his eyes.

Dungey finished second last yr. Quite easy to RV by the end .RV is gone and dungey is prob going to win this champ quite easy .only difference is that dungey is finally getting the credit he deserved . I don't know why so many people are so surprised .

Understood.

Just for shits and giggles, maybe Dungey is confident because he knows he can grind down the competition over the course of the series. No one else on the gate has finished a past series as strong and consistent as the #5.

Totally agreed. Dungey is riding more "on point" than ever, and is totally on a mission from gate drop. He's always been a great athlete, no doubt...but it seems much more focused than he used to be. Villopoto never had a concerned look on his face even when he would get beaten on a rare occasion...and I see that same look on Ryan in his post-race interviews this year.

Aldon may not be the whole key...but he sure ain't hurting anything.

I'd agree if Stewart and RV were here this year and this is how Dungey was finishing....But since their not, I'm not convinced and think it just might be that the bike has a little to do with it and made him more comortable as well as this is just the same ol Dunge, steady as she goes...but still fast...not the fastest..but still fast. Brimx153 has it correct.

I agree. It makes you think about RV going into the GPs without him, after having him by his side day in day out for all them years. RV is a mentally strong person but you have got to wonder if it has affected him at all not having Baker around running up to the championship.
