Shifting seemed very smooth. Mid ranged seemed a little short but it would rev to the moon on the top. Then again I'am used to riding a 450 and don't have any other '09 250s to compare it to.

This has to be the most unreliable dirt bike ever built."

This Gorr dude has a god rep, knows better than a majority I assume. You think the 09 has gone threw a major revolution engine-wise?
YZF seems reliable, but handling is a weak point.
Pit Row
My son had an 07 RMZ250 and it was solid other than a clutch issue that Suzuki fixed part way through 2007.
He has an 09 KX250F now and I put 5 hours on it a week ago because my 450 hasn't arrived yet. The only thing I can compare it to is his 07 RMZ250 and my 02 RM250 and I really enjoyed the bike, plenty of power but not quite the thrill factor of a 250 2 stroke but much easier to go fast on and ride longer. Bike handled well but I did not ride it with stock suspension as it had already been modified by Jeremy Wilkey at MX-Tech.
I'd love to see a legitimate 6-bike 250F shootout. Be very interested to see how the euro bikes do....
