Sounds like bad quality I would take this up with Torsten Hallman or maybe even Thor himself.

Any suspension work. This idea that people can just know your height, weight and skill level to create a decent suspension setup for you is complete bull. Every single time, I would have been better off just riding a stock setup than thinking a tech could magically make it better by filling out a form, sending in the parts, and paying the bill.

I've had suspension work done by many people, major companies (who I won't name,) and it has always been shit. This goes for dirt bikes, roadracing, and dirt track. The roadracing part if it really was the end of the deal. I told them my strong point was braking, and I got a bike that you couldn't even touch the front brake without it getting all sketchy and nervous.

I have always worn Thor & loved it!! Never any issues w/ the boots, gear or helmets. Last set I got from Motosport, my wife ordered it as a gift for me. She got them to put my name & number on it. That was last Christmas & their still going strong! I was it on delecet & hang dry. No issues.

Who did you order it from & who installed the letters/number?

My most disapointing bike purchase was my 07 kxf250. I kept it for a couple of months before trading it for an 07 crf250x, which happened to be one of my favorite bikes!
Gear would have to be a set of Moose gear a few years back. The jersey fit weird, big & was so uncomfortable. Wore it once, then sold it!

2010 RMZ250. Not a reflection on the model, but I bought it second hand and thought I was getting a killer deal. Turned out the bike had been thrashed and abused and I sunk waaay too much money on it.

On a related note, I have Thor gear myself and really like it. My last set lasted about two years!

I got talked into getting a 1987 KTM250, that lasted all of 5 weeks, went back to Honda CR250, then got convinced that the 1988 KTM250 was much better than the 87, it was but that only lasted 4 weeks i think before yep back to honda CR250, then went to CR500 for a couple of years....didnt go back to KTM until 2013

'98 CR250. Pretty sure that thing gave me nerve damage in my arms from the vibration. I did get a nice tool box with it though.

1991 CR125 for me. It pains me to say that because the bike was really well built and the motor was incredible. However, the front of that bike... WOW. Headshake from hell, arm-pump, you could NOT tune the problems out of the front of that bike.

Sounds like you two had trouble with a screwdriver. Wink

My 2000 KX250 had a false neutral between 2nd and 3rd. Not conducive to proper landings when trusting it on jump faces.

I would say I had a pretty similar experience with the Moose Iron-On numbers once when I was "noob" enough to do my own jersey name and numbers. Cant say I had bad experience with Thor though, to be honest the Thor gear I have from 2001 still is in one piece but that doesnt mean they still make it that way. For my jersey lettering I go to the local mall and go to the "t-shirt" diner place where they make custom t shirts and have them do my own custom jersey stuff for each jersey I get, it's cheap too like 30 bucks, idk if that's an option for you. A big dissappointing purchase for me was those damn Astars Tech-10 boot graphics that cost 70 fuckin dollars and peel off in 10 minutes off brand new boots before you even ride...WTF man.

1978 Husqvarna CR250. Wow it was a turd. Constantly broke gears, top ends, frames, bearings. And I was the Service Manager at dealership. It was not like I did not know how to work on it. It especially hurt, in light of the amazing motorcycles that were being sold by Honda, Yamaha, Kawaski that same year. I've not bought anything (nor will I) Husqvarna since.

About the same time (1980) I bought riding gear from MSR. Still called Malcom Smith Racing then. The seams pulled apart on the pants where they did leave enough margin on the seams. I've not spent any $$$ with MSR since then. None.

The butt of my Thor pants ripped open in 3 weeks of having it (the fabric not the stitching)

Same here but for different reasons. I had my local suspension guy do my 06 KX250F. It seemed better but certainly wasn't night and day. A year later I pulled that set of suspension apart only to find out that none of the valve stacks had ever been touched...$800 for a set of springs and some fork oil. Needless to say I make my own valving changes now...

I was pretty bummed that the Works Connections Hour Meters I got can't be reset back to zero. I had a transmission problem at 5 hours so I decided to replace the crank (didn't do it the last time) so I have a fully rebuilt motor and the engine starts at 5 hours.

Answer roost boost.

Most recently, a cheap set of o'neal boots I picked up when I got a motorcycle after ~15 years of mtb only. They sucked, fell apart with little riding, and were not at all comfortable. Lesson learned, wearing sidi's now.

The problem is we have bought fly and oneal ,fox and thor.
I had a shirt shop iron on the numbers(thor brand)
The jersey looks like someone scratched it up with a wood file.
It was the pro circut kit and the pants and helmet ,gloves, boots are fine but that jersey wow.

We race bmx and play hockey and ride/race mx for years just never seen something fall apart so fast.

I also feel you on suspension I like riding the bike as is. I had a company do my suspension and liked it better begore.
