1 - RV2, he has to otherwise alot of Vital-members will be very dissapointed
2 - AC222 Consistent but misses a little of the raw speed RV has
3 - Nagl, will win some GP's but not as fast as Rv and Ac

Of course we do man, he's a fucking stud on a bike, anybody that thinks different is fooling themselves.

I can't wait to see him race it's gonna be great, in each generation we get legends and we are very lucky to have two of them race each other this year.

Where you get the differences of opinion or negative vibes toward him are when nut Huggers say he will wax the title with ease.

Also strikes me that the Italian input in the MX2-class is very slim, only Monticelli and Bernardini, not the two greatest talents. There were different times.

Becoming champion is one thing, staying it is something else.

Just looked at the World Champions list. If Villo becomes champion, it will be the first time for Kawasaki since Christophe Pourcel in 2007. Kawasaki is in fact the least succesfull motorcyclebrand of the modern manufacturers. They only got worldtitles with Everts in '95, Tortelli in '96 and '98, Maschio in '02 and Pourcel in '07.

Well in fairness, they do seem to be more consistent from start to finish compared to the AMA series, but when you look at the lap time charts it appears that the AMA riders are beating each other into a pulp and develop a larger gap between themselves. The last couple of laps from most AMA motos has the lap times increasing more dramatically than the GP motos, but when you look at the gaps it's pretty clear why.

There are plenty of exceptions to either of these general observations, but the trend holds pretty true. The GP riders slow as the moto goes along, just like the AMA guys.

I know he can't do it forever, but I think he may put a little more intensity into his training this season because of RV. I don't buy the idea that he hasn't had much competition, I just think he's that much better over a season than everyone else (like RV). Paulin, Desalle, Nagl, etc. are all world class riders and are just as fast as the AMA's top riders without a doubt.

If anything, I think we could be looking at a season that mimics the RV vs. Townley season with them going at it every round but also sprinkling in a select few others who could sneak in and take a moto win away.

I have a feeling that if AC wins this c'ship, then he drops the mic and retires on top.

I think we're going to see the best Cairoli ever. Why? Motivation, because some ginger kid from the States flies over this season.

Seriously, Everts was at his best in his last season, stating he never trained harder during winter as then. Just because Tortelli made a comeback (not succesfully) and because Pichon started working with his ex-trainer Willy Linden. Both French riders had bad luck that season and Everts won 27 motos out of 30, finished twice as second and once as third. Won 14 GP's out of 15 and one GP second, tied with Coppins.

Motivation is everything.

I think RV's ability to come through the pack is going to be a huge factor. The last time he raced outdoors in 2013, he went down in the first corner of the first moto at southwick and ended up coming from about 36th to 4th, and finishing just 3 seconds behind the moto winner, Dungey. His intensity at the beginning of the motos is incredible, and when he does get out front his sprint laps are amazing. I know Tony is a great rider, but RV is just something special.

I don't see it that way. And you guys talk about the 18 different GP winners, but what does that even matter. Just because someone won a race years ago doesn't mean they are going to be battling with RV. More former race winner doesn't always indicate a super stacked field. In reality there are four guys who can win a race outright and another four or so who can win if they get lucky and or if the other guys crash/get injured. I predict RV is going to be able to cut through the pack like he always has
