Millsaps bad juju

Who poured the full jug of bad juju on Millsaps? Poor guy can't catch break this year.

Was running 3rd or 4th and went down on lap.3.
Lap times shows him lose half a minute on lap 9. So he went down couple of times?

Definately not the bikes fault. I mean it worked for Villopotto. Kawasaki need to look at Seely or Tomac...whoever is out of contract come 2016.

Furthermore, its possible that Millsaps is hiding some sort of injury...if not then he is really in the crap cause Kawa aint going to happy coughing up big cash with zero tesults.

Something is definitely up with him. He hasn't looked like the guy we saw charging at Monster Cup so far this season. Hopefully he gets it figured out and starts seeing the podium.

In the recent TWMX interview, he states "things went south with him since monster cup", but he never elaborates.

My question is: what's to "figure out"?

Millsaps looked great on the same bike he's riding now at MEC. There have been rumors of almost a lockdown of rider input at Team Kawie, but even so...what has changed? So many had ambitions for him to be a top contender this year, especially on the green team, but he's riding like all he wants is to get through the season in one piece...not run top-5.

It may be that he is riding hurt, maybe due to all those surgeries that kept him grounded last year.

Lockdown?

What? Why? Why would that rumour even exist? Makes no sense.

I don't have time to find the particular thread I'm referring to, but that was all over here not long ago, that Team Kawasaki was rumored to not be open to changing the 450 to suit its riders...especially when Villopoto had such success on it, and will probably continue to. No, it makes no sense...but some of DM's comments lead you to believe he's not having a good time. I don't know anything, but I can see that the Suzuki that Millsaps had such amazing success on in 2013 handles completely differently than the Kawasaki he's on now. Maybe Davey isn't happy with his efforts to change the Kawi rear-biased handling to more of Suzuki way of handling being dismissed by the powers that be.

This is all speculation of course.

Seems Kawi went in the opposite direction that they were in before getting RV. Couldn't wait to get rid of riders and now they cant let go of the past...

Seely is locked up 'till 2017, and I wouldn't be surprised if Tomac re-ups with Geico if they're willing. But IF Tomac ends up a free agent this off season, Kawi will probably be the main team interested. Not many other teams with open slots besides possibly Yosh if Stew retires and Husky.

He was rocking in the moto almost won no excuses then flops the main and its the bikes fault.

He and Barcia must be sharing notes.

If the suzuki suited him so well then he should have pursued a suzuki ride im sure they could have rode for moto concepts or something.

Did Dungey take him out? They didn't show his crash on TV, just him getting up

Who`s had a good time at Kawasaki USA? Ever.
Even villopoto is very vocal about it. When Reed found out RV signed with Kawasaki Europe his first comment was that RV will finally be appreciated and taken care of. (or something like that)

If you ask the Kawi camp he's been sick the entire season and still isn't 100% yet. He definitely looked better this week than he has all season though, definitely had the speed to be top-5.

Maybe that had a lot to do with Villopoto rarely being seen with a smile on his face, or looking like he was having any fun. Some riders do well with an all-business-all-the-time team dynamic, and some just don't. I personally think Poto could've won on a Cannondale, but was just riding out his contract. Maybe that's a reason Roczen seems a lot happier at RCH vs. KTM too. The RCH guys always seem ready to have fun...as well as being deadly serious about winning.

Millsaps & Kawasaki are just having a tough time with a void created by Pro-Circuit. Pro-Circuit grooms Kawasaki's champions (minus Stewart). With no stand-out coming through Pro-Circuit, Kawasaki finds themselves in a rare situation of outsourcing for a rider. It's not something they're used to dealing with.

The grass is always greener on the other side, or so it would seem.

The bike might work great for RV......Problem is, RV isn't racing it here in SX, someone who isn't RV is.
RV's style is to steer alot with the rear wheel, and I think the Kawi suits his style of riding. What if you prefer to steer with the front, and the bike doesn't like it. Food for thought boys.

Kawi had all the confidence Davi would come out just like he did before he was injured and we all expected it as well. I think Davi even expected to come out swinging but the competition is fierce man.

Millsaps situation is quite simple. He was very sick after monster cup and is just now healing up. Two unfortunate crashes in the last 2 mains. Bet he starts to wick it up come Atlanta

James did ride for pro circuit as an amateur but went straight to the factory rig when he turned pro.

What kind of illness lasts 3 for 3 months? If that's true, why not just be open about it? I can see why they hold their cards close when they are involved in a championship race, but he's 11th in points and down by 72 points. Why such secrecy? Do they really like seeing everyone guess or assume what his problem is?

Maybe it's not medical related and he's just over it.
