I'm currently filling in my calendar with the TV schedule time, networks, and venue.
It's my fault because I haven't been paying much attention to the venues this season since Seattle got chopped, and if being my hometown race, and the only event within roughly 700 miles from me, and with my work schedule getting to race near me this year will be next too impossible.
My question is though is there really 2 ATL Supercrosses two weeks in a row? I even hopped on the Ticketmaster Application here from my iPhone to roughly confirm it, and it appears to be true considering the fact that from what I can tell they're selling tickets for the 21st and 28th of February to the best of my knowledge.
If this is correct, and if it has already been discussed sorry for the silly question, and repeat thread. My search of the forums brought up nothing in regards to the ATL SX, but the browser on this iPhone can be glitchy at times especially when I'm not connected through WiFi in the area I'm in right now.
I guess what I'm trying to say is why? Why is there two go*amn ATL's in a row. That makes absolutely zero sense to me. I guess part of it resides in the fact that they cut Seattle out, and it was the only SX race in the NW. No Vancouver BC round anymore either. At least that was a feasible trip over the boarder and back for us in the PNW. I get it that Seattle has been muddy every year so far, but they host it at the C. Link in middle of April. Perhaps if they used a little more thought they would move it a half block down the street to the Stadium with a retractable roof, and if Baseball season is a problem perhaps host a month sooner? Two months? Three months? Not even A3, A2, or A1 need to be in the same month. Yet at least they're not hosted in consecutive weekends.... And the new venue as of last year at Met Life is cool and all and it definately good for the sport media wise, but really an open air stadium on the East Coast in April? The weather is even worse than Seattle..
Perhaps this ATL thing is just a patch venue till they can locate a new suitable place for next year, but I do not work for the AMA, FIM, or whoever the hell is running this Sanctioning body this year.
Thoughts & opinions anyone?

The Shop
DeCal Works Huge Plastic Inventory of UFO and Polisport kits.
Luxon 4-Post Bar Mounts
$189.95 - $239.95
So they can easily pull off 2 sx races here in Atlanta. The population is huge. You woyldnt believe it unless you lived here. Atlanta is all about the suburbs and outside the perimeter which isn't far from atlanta.
