Anyone in Denver for the Kicker AX have a longer video than this one? Pretty rad seeing Derek still enjoying riding and going really fast; especially on a 2 stroke!

He posts here from time to time, so maybe he can correct me if I'm wrong. Last I heard he isn't looking to race full time anymore. He has had a back injury since his return a few years ago and the more he rides the worse it gets. I think this is just him out riding dirt bikes for fun and displaying his ridiculous amount of talent.

That's awesome. Another Derek who hauls ass on them 2 strokes is Kent Howerton's boy Derek. Got some cool vids on youtube as well.

He was really hauling on Saturday. He should have taken the Open Pro class, too, but pulled off on the white flag thinking it was the checkered. By far the fastest guy out there. His corner speed was insane.

Derek hauls on dirt bikes and probably can also lift his KTM 250SX over his head with 1 arm, strong guy lol.

Would love to see him try a few nationals on a 250 2 stroke, and maybe do a few more Man v moto episodes.

Still one of the best video series I have watched on motocross. Was gutted when he announced last year that he was hanging up the boots due to a back injury.

Retire from nationals and Supercross, but he still rides and races local stuff for fun.

So much more fun to watch how hard he had to hit the corner to hit that jump... It'd be slow, point and shoot on a four stroke.... Makes me sad.

He totally annihilated in his first heat! I helped Krew333 work the event, and was able to watch from the start gate... Man was DA63 killing it!!!

This is what the venue looked like at 6pm, when they clear out the venue off Pit-Pass holder, and before they let in the General Admission.

That race was so jacked up, flagger showed the 2 laps left twice.
