According to my begging thread, we have some classic car enthusiasts or owners on here too.

So how about showing them off?
I am really into old cars of all shapes and brands and love seeing them where ever I can.

Well I guess I am going to start with my 57 Chevy Bel Air.

Bought it 2013 in Sioux Falls, SD from a Dealer and shipped it to Germany - without seeing it in person prior to buying it.
The car had three owners before me, but the best thing about it is, that it is in unrestored original condition, with all its dents and marks from the past 57+ years. I also have all the documentation, starting from the original bill of sale from 1957. All the receipts are there, from every drop of oil or every screw that was bought over the years. And I have pictures of the first and second owners of the car (both of the are women). So there is some history with this beauty, which makes it even more interesting to me.
And yes, it is a 4 door, but that was what I wanted. Its cheaper, and way more convinient with a family of 5.
As of now, I will try to just preserve it the way it is, and never ever sell it. This car MUST be there when I leave this world, so that my kids have something to drive around and think about how great all the trips with the family were when they were younger.

Here are some pics I shot by myself this year:

Here are my brothers BMW and dads/ mine/ brothers 2 owner '73 Vette and original owner '77 Thunderbird. The Corvette we bought about 1o years ago, non matching numbers but it has a ZZ4 crate engine in it, everything is done to to original except AC. The guy we bought it from dumped alot into it. Still has original interior, correct color also.

The T-Bird isnt worth alot but alot of sentimental value to us because my parent bought it brand new and also took me and my brother home from the hospital after we were born in it. Car is 100% original, has 188k never had to touch a thing. Everything works including cold AC and 8 track player.

The BMW is my brothers, kinda rare car here in the state. 2002 BMW M Coupe. Only a few hundred made their way here and less then 20 with the color his is. Sweet, fast car I will say for sure.

Haha, nice, love it. Keep 'em coming guys.

@Erik (ehr400):
Looks like your whole family is into cars, right. Nice to have sweet rides like that in the family.

@lostboy:
Your 1973(?) Challenger looks mean!! And the 50s Chevy Delivery is the perfect car to haul your MX-Bike to the track, ha? ;-)

Lostboy, what does your Challenger have in it? I like the 70's street look. I remember as a kid all the cars running around with traction bars and fat cragars.

Not mine, but saw it at the Edmonton racetrack in July. Just flawless, was drooling on it in the staging lanes. Certainly made me want to get my 71 back together. Original Chrysler Green, black vinyl roof, have a 440 for it. Needs trans and reassembly. Those Challengers are what got me into hot rods as a kid, and I finally bought one, in 88. Sorry, no pics.

Awful pic of my 31 Chevy Special Sedan. Doesn't do it justice.

Yup, it's crazy what they are going for. I love classic cars, but I'm not really into the completely accurate/matching restoration stuff. Don't get me wrong, I think it's very impressive and awesome in it's own right. I'm just more into the classic car with modern technology that I can drive the hell out of. I had an old scout a while back that would drive, but was really rough interior wise. Sometimes I wish I would have kept it but I just don't have the time, nor the money, to devote to one right now.

Whats funny is in the 90's all that stuff got thrown in the trash so alot of them could be restored, now it is cool again to have retro 60-70's street machines.

I like the original torque thrusts on some goodyear polyglas's. Slot Mags where cool as fuck too.

Now that I've seen those pics on a REAL SCREEN, and not an iPhone, that thing is really nice. Nice score masta, and it's cool you chose function, as well as style. The 4 doors make it an everyday driver, which is what it's all about. Cool

Thanks scooter!
And yes, I really use the 57 as often as it is possible. During winter the Chevy is stored dry and warm, but in summer I'll drive it even to the grocery store or to fetch my son from the kindergarten.

By the way, I bought this 57 Chevy 4dr Hardtop last year in the USA and shipped it to Germany.
It didn't turn out the way i thought, so I am trying to sell it, because I don't have the funds to restore it.
But wow, what a view it is having two of them sitting in the garage.
