Does any one know what dealer cost is on a 2009 Suzuki RMZ 250?

I'm sure a Suzuki dealer would.

Why do you plan on only allowing your dealer to charge you what they pay?

True but with a 2009 model I get two years of contingency vs. one with a 2008. Our four strokes are only raced and never practiced except day of event. My two strokes get all the practice hours.

Practicing on an entirely different type of bike than your race bike, makes a whole lot of sense.

My dealer says he doesn't make any money, so dealer cost must be $6299.

And so many people have to ask why most dealers could care less about MXers.

If I remeber correctly (and don't quote me on this) it's usually around 17% below MSRP. Doesn't count rebates or kickbacks tho.

Contract time right now( weird with arena cross a week away) Might end up missing Des Moines but, He'll be ready come Grand Rapids when the series starts.

He did not ride 450's in 08 but, the deal looks like 09 both bikes.

The profit margins in mx bikes suck unfortunately. It's true.

But you sell much more accessories and parts to a racer if you work it. We spend thousands at local dealers and we have a lot of sponsors. Can't do everything over the web.

I think your right Moto East. Most riders if treated right on the price of the bike will spend on the parts. I think Most dealers around here realize that. I get most of my parts where my bikes come from with an occasional E-bay here and there.

I spend way more on parts than I do on bikes.

That Is exactly what I would do, practice on a two stroke and race a four stroke. Oh dealer cost on that bike is 1700, don't let him get away with charging you over 1800.

I thought it was $2.......We make around $4500 on everyone we sell!

Why do you need to know what cost is?
