Good work Ezza. You saved me researching how to imbed a video. The only thing missing from AFL fights are pom poms.

Don't know if I can remember a good AFL fight, not a big watcher of it tho... Tho they do have some pretty nasty hits, the 360 degree aspect of it makes for some nasty impacts.

You guys remember the Fridge - Samoa or Tonga Rugby player? Holy Fuck.

And we pussy foot around do we!? or Motocrossers are tougher than out Footballers. just take, for instance Toby price and Matt philips or Josh strang

Also a lesson in history, AFL was invented when a Cricket coach wanted to keep his team fit in winter. We are world champs in cricket!

They reckon AFL isn't hard. What about dipper playing a full game with a punctured lung! He said in a later interview he went and hid in the toilets at quarter, half and three quarter time cause if he had of talked to any coaching staff they would have known and pulled him off! That's fucking NFG!

Getting life changing injuries from a game is unnecessary. How many years until big hits are totally banned?

Okay. Motocross is a sport, a contact sport at that. I believe everybody knows the saying "rubbing is racing" , and well, that's how it is...

I'm an Australian, and I'm not being bias, I respect every racer evenly. But every sport has its dirty sides.
In Australia, we play AFL. Its a beautiful sport and closely resembles poetry. Anyways, In this sport, if and opponent tackles you dirty, gives you a hard time, when the ball comes even remotely near him you punch him in the back of the head. Of course in the highest level dirty play is almost non existent, The game becomes much more clean, but stars of our sport still have to odd temper flare and a bit of behind play roughness happens. NOW I don't know about your baseball or NFL or Hockey, BUT i suspect this is apart of every sport.

What Reed did was Unfair and un-sportsman like, BUT it was heat of the moment, just like when Brownlow medalist Chris Judd chicken winged that guy...

Dirty Play is apart of every sport and to be honest, Its something that should just be dealt with quickly and quietly and just move on from

At least we dont have fights like this in Motocross

is it true you had to invent your own game, with its own rules so you could be world champs in something?

We just followed in the footsteps of the Americans with their NFL Smile

Don't worry Scott one day New Zealand will invent a sport and finally be good at something hehe.

Actually fair play to NZ, for the population size you sure have produced a lot of awesome moto talent! I am sure we will some of that racing talent in Aus this year. Maybe this is the year that Cooper can bring his NZ form to Aus, would be cool to see Cooper battling for the title, though Ill be hoping the South Aussie takes the title in 2015 Smile

Haha, you mean the actual national competition that has teams in every state but Tasmania, and is played in Vic, NSW, WA and Tas, unlike the sniff bum throw ball backwards run into big man game that is played in two states Smile in a glorified tri-state series.

The NRL has a chance to as big if not bigger than AFL, but they backed out of their move into the other states, while the AFL went hard on ensuring it was represented in every state.

Just wanted to say that there are definitely some tough bastards in AFL, and having a 6' something dude use your head as a launching pad to take a mark can definitely end up doing some damage...

Never played either, other than on the lawn with mates when I was little.

Motocross is all I really care about. Wink

I'm looking forward to some more 250 bar-bangin action this weekend!Woohoo

Spend more than 1 week in South Australia, Victoria or Western Australia and you will soon see just how big the AFL is, especially Vic. During the season 50% of the week the Crows and or Power will have both the front and the back of the local paper, same in Vic!

The sports section is 80% AFL then the rest of the sports.

I played a fair bit growing up, was never great, and a few years in seniors, stopped paying at 21, actually about the time my co-ordination finally came around and I was half decent, lol as in local Football, a long way from SANFL or anything like that. A long long way.

Man did I waste some summers playing cricket! You literately more time watching that game than playing it when you are playing.

Spent a couple of years opening the batting for our clubs one C grade team which played one day games not the normaly two day games as I could only play ever second week due to work. What it meant though was I would normally be facing a local A grade bowler who was also playing the one day format for one reason or another. Had more than my fair share of bruises from the stupid sport lol.

If Gallagher refereed that sport there'd be no one left on the pitch.
