When can i buy aftermarket suspension for a RM 250 2008? I´d like to try Öhlins or Showa a kit suspension but it's really difficult to find in Europe for the RM 250. And i haven't got the money for brand new suspension, the Öhlins is about 3-4000 €
What about putting some other model (like RMZ) suspension on it?
Failing that, you could keep a lookout on ebay.
Lets say that i find used Öhlins suspension for an rmz 250 or 450 how much work would it be to fit the RM 250?
If you managed to find some rmz fit Ohlins then your best bet would be to ask an Ohlins and Suzuki dealer if the suspension would fit.
Ohlins do a cartridge kit so you don't have to buy the complete forks. http://ohlinsracing.com/mx-enduro/ttx-cartridge-kit

If you are talking about a full set up kit for your motorcycle your friend will have to get into several areas of the suspension depending on which motorcycle.
1. Shock change shims on piston.
2. Shock change shims on compression valve.
3. Possible drilling and or lengthening of shock by 2mm or less.
1. Fork change shims on base valve.
2. Fork change shims on mid valve inside the cartridge.
3. Install some custom parts.
The instructions will are detailed and we will be available for your questions.
Most pistons are good except the RMZ shock piston and the PSF fork piston.
