So the family and I are sitting in the industry seating at Phx. It's right after opening ceremonies and I'm sitting on the end of the row. I look to my left and Cooper Web is standing right next to me. I say whats up and good luck blah blah blah. I can tell he's thinking/looking for something. Anyways, he wants to sit down to watch a few laps of the first 250 moto and ask the guy infront of us if he could sit down on the end. The guy straight up tells him NO. The seat wasn't taken or being held for anyone.......... My wife and I just laughed and was like that guy had no clue who he was.

Also We got a good kick out of Coopers mom during the 250 main. She was cheering him on like no other!!! Just like he was still on mini bikes. Always good stuff going on in the industry seating.

Hey guys, a couple of quick questions if you don't mind. Can u buy these industry seating spots - if you can how much are they and does it vary round to round?

I've wanted to head over to the States for years for a weekend to watch a sx race... Trying to work out how much it would cost

Cheers

Diego's is decent. Never, ever take industry seating at an Anaheim round, you can't see anything. Laughing

I'll be at the SD round at the tail end of a work trip. I'll also be flying solo. So for real, how do you get these seats?

Industry seats at NYSX not that good. Better off buying seats at midfield or wherever

Few ways for someone to get those seats,

1. be a rider , mechanic or crew

2. actually be in the industry and get a credential

3.Parts Unlimited has a deal for certain dealers that includes industry seating and I think a special afternoon track walk.

Industry seating as stated here is very competitive and not that great.

Best bet is buy good seats or find a Team that offers a fan experience.

My experience is Industry seating is average at best in most stadiums and if you're fussy about your seat you'll need to stay with it to keep it.

The best thing about industry seating is the "anytime" pit access so you can cruise the pits after they close them down for the night show. Because of that access, they are usually real close to the pits also. Last year in NJ, it was a short escalator ride down to the pits so you could go down there and not worry about missing much during the trek back and forth. Other than that, no big deal.

As far as where to get them, last year I got hooked up by a very generous member here on the forum whose name I will withhold so they don't get bombarded (but if you read this, thanks again) but every other year I've gotten them from my local dealer who gets them from Parts Unlimited.

Industry seating at Phx is really pretty terrible....too low to see anything.

Let me know around October if you want to sit with us in one of our Exec Suites. We had 9 this year! Jay, we missed you brother!!

I like sitting down in industry seating during day practice if I can sneak in. One day I sat right behind Ricky Carmichaels Dad and Roger Decoster pretty much breathing on there necks. They were sitting next to each other and I was right behind them in the seat just hanging out by myself. haha

industry seating is usually near the tunnel or area where the riders come into the stadium. This means it's very low and usually in a corner. This is usually poor visibility seating.

Just get to the race early and sit near the tunnel or wherever the riders come into the stadium. There will be a walkway for riders to come in to the seats to watch and meet people.

At A1, we were watching practice and Osborne and his crew came and sat right in front of us. Zach was sitting right in front of my girl friend. She didn't care.... Then we saw Top Jimmy walk by. Then a few minutes later Georgia walked by. Then a bunch of riders we didn't know walked by. Get there early

Sat in the industry seats at A3 and was disappointed because the view was too close to the track so I only saw what was directly in front of me. I like to sit at the top rows and see all the racing action. I got my seats from the will call booth outside the stadium.

Donnie, Warren, Steve, Carlos & DR. M!

Maybe next year I will come up and check out the suite! Heard there were some older Metal Band members hanging out too!

Hung out in the Industry seating this year. Was not bad, sat on the top row where the Handicap access is located.

Cheers!

Somehow ended up there during practice at ATL one year after following some buddies to "the good seats." I didn't know where we were headed, but once we got there I said the view was better in our seats. It wasn't a bad view, but wasn't great. Then some red headed PC/Kawi rider came and sat down a couple rows in front of us. I can't remember his name, but I believe he went on to win 4 straight 450SX titles, and now he's racing in Europe or something. It was a cool experience.
