That guy is such a shit face. . . I can't figure out why we don't send a seal team in to take care of him and leave. There is no way they'd ever find us there.
Because we don't want a war with a country that has 24.9 million people backed by China and Russia. We would need China to say enough is enough.

My opinion, those two are no talent ass clowns that never break free from the characters they play. I am happy that it was not censored, I'll be waiting til this comes to the TV to see it.

No talent ass clowns? Seth Rogen, maybe, but, in my opinion, Franco is legit.

I "was " going to use them , but for some reason every download wants me to install an installer. You use Utorrent and the magnet links....or do you use their installer?

Just answered my own question. The magnet link works well with Utorrent. Not sure what my problem was before.

Can you explain this to me like I'm 5?

My understanding is that net neutrality limits internet providers to controlling speeds to the consumer. They're not allowed to designate speeds to large businesses. So for example, if I went to a small site like HJacks Plumbing, it could take as long as dialup to access it. But if I went to a large company like Hulu or Youtube who pay for faster streaming to the consumer, on the same computer, it would stream seamless.

I think that without net neutrality, ISP's would also be free to flat out block websites at their discretion, which means they could do things like package up different websites into "plans", similar to how cable providers do it. For example, $10/mo might get you Facebook and Verizon.com. $10/mo more might get you Disney.com, Google, etc and $20/mo more than that might get you YouTube and Netflix. Or, straight up block sites that might compete with their business or partners. Want to login to your Bank of America account? Too bad, Comcast just signed a deal with Chase and now blocks all competing banks.

The same goes for website publishers. They'd be subject to extortion and might have to pay the ISP's to keep them from blocking or slowing down their sites when their subscribers try to view them, which they're already doing with Netflix.

Not having net neutrality leaves lots of opportunity for ISP's to get creative in building monopolies and nickel-and-diming people. It'd basically ruin the internet and give ISP's the ability to put TONS of small businesses out of business on a whim. I don't think there's any guarantee all this bad stuff will happen, but ISP's are asking for net neutrality to go away so they have the ABILITY to.

The counter argument is that sites like Netflix cost disproportionately more money to serve to people and ISP's should consequently be allowed to charge more to recoup the cost. But as usual, the suggested solution is too broad and leaves the door wide open for people to do all sorts of bad things.

Think of it like cable TV. If Internet service providers have carte blanche, and it's pay to play, nothing new has a chance, see what I'm saying. What makes the internet cool right now is that it's a level playing field, if you come up with some new technology on top of it you can make something out of nothing. If Comcast has control over its pipes, it can shut that new company down and clone it with a subsidiary or something. It's about implications. Many people (including the President) have suggesting regulating ISPs under "Title 2" like a utility. Like your water or gas or electricity. I don't know which is the right answer, but I know the general sentiment behind net neutrality is important to keep the internet awesome as far as innovation goes. The internet is a lot more than websites and videos eventually.

I'm for leaving things just they way they are... at least until providers start doing the things that they want to protect against. Too many laws, government too involved in everything. If my provider starts doing dumb shit, I'll drop them and go to another provider. I do have options. If you want to save the internet you would get rid of Facepage, twatter, and all that other bullshit. It seems that Facebook has "become" the internet for most people out there. I still don't have an account, and refuse to get one.

I'm inclined to agree. Curious, how many options do you have for internet, exactly? As long as there's options, no need to be concerned. But if you wake up one day and have to decide between Comcast and Verizon.... we're screwed.

I can think of 5 (more than 5 actually) options off the top of my head, 2 of which I have switched between a couple of times over the last few years because I felt one or the other was screwing me over at the time. The two main options are Charter Cable (current at 100Mbps), ATT DSL (about 6Mbsp), Satellite (Hugesnet, etc), WiFi (can't think of the provider's name off the top of my head), Mobile/Mifi (there are at least 3 mobile providers in range). Then of course if I had to I could go dialup AOL. Smile Not to mention getting a dedicated (T1/T3/etc) from telephone providers.

Of course, I'm lucky since I live near a city. My dad who lives in the country really has 0 options. I hooked him up with a neighbor on top of the hill via a .5 mile wireless bridge connection. The neighbor's connection is only about 1Mbps up and down and he's now sharing with all the rest of us when we're up there visiting. It's painful. Smile

Only in American would watching a shitty Seth Rogen movie qualify as patriotism. And Dennis Rodman is our non-official ambassador.

I like the movie theater down in Texas that had a group singing "Team America, Fuck Yeah" and watching Team America: World Police I guess they didn't realize that song is a complete parody of American nationalism.

They shouldn't have the right to hack whomever they want.
It's a dumb statment and that's why I asked for you to explain, but seeing that you can't I'll addume you were drunk or high when you posted it.

It's like saying America should be able to hack whoever they want, causing as much damage as we see fit.

According to liberals, America is the only country that shouldn't be proud of Americans and what they accomplish. Whenever another country has someone that becomes a famous movie star, the country shuts down, and they have a parade for them saying what a great accomplishment it was for the country.

No, no, no. We should all bend over to the international community, and act like we've never done anything.
