She looked good in those videos and certainly can jump well. If she practices and trains hard enough on a real Supercross track, I think she will make night shows but mains are going to be hard this year. I think if she keeps at it and doesn't give up she could make a main. I've seen guys that started training for SX and didn't have nearly the base skill she has and they worked hard enough to adventually make main events.


She is good for the sport and I hope she does great! I do think Hodges will be the first one to really bring it to the guys though. Hopefully, Golden proves me wrong.

Add Aussies, Hayden Mellross and Taylor Potter to the East Coast SX list as well.

Potter just confirmed on FB today he has the funding to head back over and race,

While Mellross is already in the states training (though light training for a few weeks after a small leg break(

As for Golden, Would be cool to see her make the night show.

I don't feel she has even the slightest chance at making a main, I'll be surprised if she even makes a night show, but good on her for giving it a go.

I think she'll make most night shows, especially the rounds with less entries and lame whoops. I wouldn't pick her to make a main but I wouldn't be surprised either... get a holeshot in the heat and try to hang on for 9th place to transfer. Chances aren't good but I'll be rooting for her. She trains hard and has been dedicated for a while now.

I predict that she will make the night show, but will not make a main event all year. I think it is awesome that she is trying though. I have a lot of respect for that.

Watching videos of her in AX, my opinion is cemented even further. She's gotta train extremely hard. If that's the type of corner speed she has in SX she will be no where near competitive. But hey maybe she'll prove me wrong and kick ass, but I would bet on Mike Alessi winning the title before her being a factor.
