I've been following these Motosport videos featuring Josh Hansen since they began late last summer and I got to say Josh has really transformed himself. The first couple of videos portrayed Josh as a man with regrets and missed opportunities. The next few videos portrayed him adapting to a program of training and living a champions lifestyle. He seemed weak mentally and a bit broken by the commitment required to lead the champions lifestyle. You could see the strain in his face and his voice. Yet he kept with it believing those around him.
But this video, and Josh even says it, he has turned a corner and the benefits of working hard the past few months are starting to show. He sounds calm, at peace with himself and most of all he looks hardened, fit and focused. The goofy slacker stoner demeanor is slowly leaving him to be replaced by the actions of a man controlling his own destiny.
He looks to have surrounded himself with good people in Daniel Castloo and Ty Kady so credit to those guys for going to work for Josh.
Cant wait for A1.

IF he had taken the title that year 2011? I don't expect he would have any better equipment right now.
I'm rooting for Hansen so don't get me wrong but he's been away a while, I'd love to see him race fair, hard but fair, and get some good results, the kids as stylish as the devil on a bad day.
I hope that Hnasen turns up, but faster

A 30 year old whos had an injury filled career is a different 30 year old whos never had a lot of injuries like Josh. Also, Josh has had a couple years now taking NO wear and tear on his body racing. As well, he spared his body of wear and tear by not doing the nationals all the years he was racing.
I see no reason he cant compete physically with the kids.
By the way...I dig that big red Kawasaki on the tank. For some reason it reminds me of the 79 KX's

A couple months of training is a complete joke in my humble opinion when compared to years of unadulterated, hardcore, No bullshit dedication....

You make it sound like its such a struggle, such a noble quest.
He is racing a motorcycle. He won't win the championship. I'll be surprised if he finishes the series.
I'm not sure why anyone ever thinks it will be different with this guy. We've heard all this before.
