Electric KTM motorcycle

I'm sure if they are developed to thier performance and battery life potential they would be cool. However, part of the charm of being at the track is when everyone stops in an instance, turns thier head and gives that deer caught in a headlight look as someone panic revs. Then laughing at each others reaction when there was no crash. How many 5 min. convesations has that started? I don't think they could program in a panic rev sound.

This is huge. I was contemplating buying a trials bike to mess around on in the neighborhood/ backyard. I'm definently picking one of these up. Own the very first mx style electric bike.

Imagine the shredding you could do on this bad boy. freestyle ramp in backyard? arenacross track? no problem. Skatepark style courses just for fmx with quarter pipes and ramps, like the on renner was hitting. Beleive it or not the sport is progressing.
Buy the trials bike. They are as quite as a lawn mower, you can pick up a good used bike for under $3000 and they are a ton of fun.

Anybody catch the future bikes article in Dirt Rider, not sure what month, those are some out-there ideas but hopefully its an accurate proposed trajectory.

Anyone remember this CRF250R electric conversion from a while ago. Apparently the project continues. Its a nice looking bike and could be Honda's answer to KTM. Honda should hire this guy.
