I ride a two-stroke, I'm just tired of the community arguing about it again and again.
This place is like groundhogs day.

Make a separate fourm for two-strokes and separate the people that want to argue fom the people that want to discuss real racing and not what bike they ride.

I don't know how many of you have seen an endurocross but anybody that can ride around one of those courses consistently no matter what type of bike should be considered a hero. Yea Cody won but imho I feel he was actually at a disadvantage when compared to the competition, that really shows what type of rider he is. Next year he'll be on a KTM and once again imho I sincerely think he'll be at another level when compared to the rest....time will tell though.

Do you think he'll get full factory stuff from KTM being the #1 plate holder or will it just be a "support" ride since he's competition to their Factory guys?

To my knowledge, none of RPMs guys in the past have gotten all the factory goodies.

If he isn't getting top shelf parts, I see his move as a lateral one.

Anybody know what KTM he'll be riding next year? I wouldn't be surprised if it had 4 strokes....

I don't think KTM forces their riders to ride either a 4 or 2 stroke if that's what you are implying. My dad and I talked to Mike Brown for a bit at the Sacramento race and when asked why he didn't run the 300, he just said he hadn't tested it. Based off of that I think they can ride whatever bike they want.

Also, to add to the debate, I have only raced an amateur main so I can only speak for us slow guys, but endurocross is about 95% rider 5% bike, with the bike percentage being the little things you can do to help like an autoclutch. For pros, I would imagine it is maybe 90% rider and 10% bike at the most.

So if we follow the idea that 2 strokes got legislated out because of emissions, what is going to happen to 4 strokes when they decide to make the rules favor electric bikes? Are they legal right now?

I wasn't trying to say they would force him, he might choose a 4 stroke. RPM definitely has history of letting guys ride what they want.

I think being on the Beta made it a pretty simple choice to go with the 2 stroke.
