Was it effective in terms of lap times?

Or just another guy saying go set up with your camera in the corner and I''l powerslide it in to the rut and drag my bars even though it'll destroy all momentume and actually cost me 2 seconds?

no offense or anything man, but sometimes just laying it down like that just feels so good, and when your practicing its about going out there and just having fun who cares about lap times. but when it comes down to race you bet your ass i wont be draggin a bar

Dana is no slouch at Perris by any means.. The kid has the place dialed. Cornering like that cost him a radiator and some hoses.

I was just in awe of the "bar dragging" and yes he did it lap after lap, in multiple corners.

it would just be fucked up if his boot was over the bars. you'd be better of dragging ur knee like in moto gp

Raced him plenty of times at Perris growing up. He was always there, his parents had some connections to the place if I'm not mistaken. I "think" a few years back his parents had some problems and they couldn't afford to race as often, otherwise he'd be doing nationals.

sometimes this place is like watching the 250 mod novice class leave the gate.... you kinda want to look away but you just can't.

I Am going to give that new over-the-bar corning technique a shot"">

Would that be the candy-bar dragger....?

I don't know if it will lower my practice lap times more than the Brake-Slide double clutch method though

Was this an effective post in terms of wit?

Or just another idiot typing away so he can see his words on the screen? Myself and every other rider would love to be able to lay it over like this kid regardless of lap times.
Funny name you have there.

I keep trying to think how railing a turn like that would be slower. I would think he needs to be carrying a LOT of speed to keep from going down.

I can't drag bars though, so what do I know? I would rather have the talent of being able to drag bars than do a backflip. I betcha a backflip is 4x easier.
