The USA club teams were decimated today! The dust, sand, and heat reeked havoc on the bikes today...

Bewley and Green gone for the Aussies, there goes a podium this year. Shame, cause our other 3 boys are killing it. US had a good day, would be nice to see them push France all the way.

McCormack is also out Sad Looks like the dust and sand took its toll on some bikes out there today.
Still, we have Price, Strang and Phillips out there flying the flag, I hope all three can stay in the top 10 overall.

On the bright side, our Womens team are absolutely flogging everyone, now over an hour and 20 minutes in front!
Your Jr. Trophy team is right in there as well (only 3 minutes back)...and with day 4 being the same as today...who knows what will happen.

Yeah if McCormack wasn't out the juniors would be killing it also.
But yeah, only halfway through, anything could/is gonna happen

What a day...I read it's the highest single day drop out ever...

Bummed for Taylor, he just needs to keep winning tests at this point, we could be right back in this with a little luck tomorrow.

Really, really sucks that Freddette DNF, correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't that his first DNF ever?

I expect A LOT of attrition tomorrow as well, tons of bikes are time bombs after today.

They are running the same tests on day four as they did on day three right?

Might not be to many left after tomorrow!

Certainly surprised by the lack of teams competing this year especially in the Women's class.

Hopefully the Aussie Junior team bounce back on top tonight, and the remaining Trophy team riders continue their strong individual showings.

How good is Daniel Sanders! He is what 17 I think maybe 16, first year racing seniors over here and killed it and now sitting 5th in the E3 class just 8 minutes behind Price after three days, kid has a big future and a killer mullet lol.

Day 4 is the same as day 3, but they modified one test (took out the worst silt bed) and completely removed one test.

And in 34 ISDE's, this is Fredette's first DNF...Im gutted for him.

Enduro is based on endurance... I know, it's obvious, but the French coach said it right before the start : this year is gonna be one where mechanicals will be the issue. He asked all the riders to ride the most conservative as possible, and i believe that's why we're still ahead, and all our riders are still there. Nambot' can go a lot faster, same for Bourgeois or BOissière, but they're playing it smart.

Saunders has been around a bit longer than that Aaryn, he was racing a KTM 450 in the VORC in 2011, maybe 18 going on 19 this year? He's had a couple of years on kawis as well, just wasn't full time in the AORC until this year.

Bummed for Tom and Greeny, looks like the Yammies didn't like the dust today. Tom was riding well too, top 20 in a few tests today, he loves the sand.

First MXoN and now this, not our year ey. At least the women are killing it. Yanks are having a blinder event so far as well, really impressed with their results.

The French team has this event figured out! They have been dominating this event the past few years!

I think most teams are riding more conservatively than they could as their strategy...Osborne's bike breaking on day 1 was just crappy luck, not necessarily pushing it to hard. If only he were still in it...and assuming he isn't the slowest guy on the team (not a huge stretch), USA could have dropped Duvall's day 1 time, Mullins day 2 time, and Roberts day 3 time...and then USA is right there with the French team. You know what they say about "ifs and buts" though...

Though the club teams for USA have been decimated...in terms of individual rider results...the club riders are still dominating (and that is all they have to race for any more, with so many club riders getting eaten alive on day 3).

Looking like a tight finish could come around, France definitely being conservative after opening an early lead and USA have it all to gain!

Day 5 is in the books...

France still leads the World Trophy class...but USA cut another couple minutes out of their lead, but its probably to little to late...with a 10 minute lead going into the last day, it will have to take a major catastrophe for the French team to lose this one. Spain is another 40 minutes behind the U.S. team...

USA still leads the Junior Trophy class...and added about 30 seconds to their day 4 lead. With only a 1 minute 45 second lead over the French team, and with Sweden only 2 minutes 19 seconds behind the Americans, this one will be a barn burner on day 6 tomorrow, and anything can happen.

US Club teams are quickly falling out of the top 10 due to DNF's...but the club riders are dominating the individual honors with 7 of the top 10 club riders being American.

Also, in another interesting twist...tomorrow is the motocross test, which should definitely favor the American riders (to bad Osborne is out).

Final results coming in:

World Trophy 1. France 2. USA (Brown, Duvall, Robert, Mullins, Russell) 3. Spain

Junior Trophy 1. USA ( Baylor, Baylor, Bollinger, Jones) 2. France 3. Australia (1st win since with Caselli in "06!)

Top USA individuals:
E2 2. Russell
E3 3. Brown 4. Robert
C1 2. Knight 5. Storrie
C2 1. Sutherlin 2. Delong 3. Schaffer 4. Dorsey. 5. Kelley
C3 1. Buttrick

Some great rides, I'm not sure where that places historically, but it's got to be one of the best ever for USA.
