We have had a the racers prayer after the riders eetimg for those that choose to stay for it. The the anthem right before the morning program starts. It's more the club that does it at all the tracks. Not the individual tracks.

They do the National Anthem at Albany.

NESC does it at every race

Yes, here in the midsouth and south they have someone sing the national anthem, and hold prayer before the days racing begins. Also they have a 10-15 min worship service from our very own team Christ. Its awsome and I trully wouldn't feel right without the prayer and anthem.
We get into our motocross here.... All the way, and that includes prayer, anthem, worship service, riders meeting, great food, great people and somee excellent local tracks and excellent dirt.

National anthem, but most of the kids just talk thru it and show no respect and their parents don't say anything to them about it...

Not here in the midsouth! The kids here take they're hats off, place they're hands over they're hearts and are quiet and respectfull. They also bow they're heads during prayers..
Thanks for reminding me that i live in a place thats not full of fruits and nuts..

Lake Sugar Tree does the National Anthem.

As a non-American, patriotism is so weird to me. There's none of that here. Although up in northern Ireland they don't race on Sundays cos of that whole religion thing. Which is fine by me as it's possible to race twice in one weekend a lot of the time.

TORN (local hare scramble race series) has a preacher come speak on Sunday at the races. He offers to pray for you before you race also.

I liked the last few seasons at Vegas how they play the national anthem and fire up the bikes and drop the gates right at the end of the anthem. I don't think they did it that way this last season though.

I think Americans have done a better job at showing patroitism then our country.

I always thought pledging allegiance to a flag, under God, was a bizarre ritual. Do we really pledge allegiance to the United States? Is the US a religious cult?

In West Virginia at many races there is a dude blasting a full-on sermon with a freaking bullhorn for an hour every morning at sign-up. It's all about "you better get right with God" and stuff like that. It wouldn't occur to these people in a million years that somebody there might not be an Evangelical Christian.

I always play the National Anthem.I do this right after morning practice and before the 1st moto. Because we are close to the Canadian border and have plenty of Canadian racers I play their Anthem as well.I have many versions of both to mix it up and try to keep it fresh. But the best is when I have people young and old alike that will sing them live. I agree it seems as though people don't pay attention/respect when when I play them. Like removing your hat or placing your hand over your heart. But then again I was raised in a military family. As for the prayer stuff that is left to the individuals and any groups that want to do so in the pits. Motocross families/people are way to diverse to have one prayer fit all.
